Prime isn't a 12 month contract - you can pay monthly or if you do pay for a year, you can cancel and get a refund.
Yes, but a lot of us do pay it annually and I too noted the 13 month gap previously and speculated it may be part of the reason why.

Still, I've kept it for all the other Prime stuff too
If it was 12 months between episodes then your membership would still have expired, no?

Depending when you start, sure. I'm being overly cynical, but I noted a couple of other shows where they had a 13-month gap between "release" dates.

But that's the same with lots of stuff I think. I have just finished watching S2 of Mindhunter which came out last month, almost 2 years since its first season. That's Netflix though.

The thing with Grand Tour, though, is that is was explicitly being used as a hook to get people to sign up to Prime. This was their flagship show. From a business POV it's perfectly logical to have the 13 month cycle, so that each 12 month subscription only gets one new series.

Hey it worked on me biggrin and I have stayed ever since. Plus there's lots of other excellent series to watch - Man in the High Castle, Bosch, The Boys....to name only 3.
Its much better to pay £79 annually rather than £7.99 per month.....although I believe they haven't had a price rise since it began so wouldn't be surprised if there is one in the near future.

And me - I'd used Amazon occasionally prior to a Prime subscription, but since then, most of my online shopping is via Amazon, rather than Ebay.

I still check prices and that, but i find Amazon far more reliable and efficient.

Not having prime/netflix or whatever, is there anywhere I can watch/download TGT?

There were some funny moments (the tank in James's car, for example), but it's one that I wouldn't rush to watch again.
One of the most funniest moments in the series IMO

in which case I'm sure you can find it without much help

Some shows on amazon you can "pay per episode" - not sure if this applies to TGT though

having finally got round to seeing the last 2 episodes recently I think they did really well by the end. I couldn't understand clarksons blubbing as I bet the worst bits were all the stuff they wont be doing anymore.
Doubt there is an actual series run coming. They will drop a special on amazon every now and again like what nexflix does with their films.

Looking on YouTube they seem to be doing a bit of stuff on there these days.

Psychopath, no. Someone totally lacking empathy, yes. Either that, or you don't realise how much the format of the show meant to Clarkson. He designed it, and had been working with it for almost 20 years. Something you love doing, that you designed, and had worked very hard for for 20 years coming to an end and you get a bit upset..... And you can't understand that? That's lacking empathy in my opinion.
