They need to slow down. I know it's profit profit profit but trying to get one out every year is ridiculous.

You can see at least half of those ideas being in the movie.

Just read that they're recasting Han Solo. Now to be played by Rebel Wilson.

Do you have to be a Star Wars geek to get that joke?

Even though he is sort of everywhere right now, I think Chris Pratt would have been a better choice looks wise at least...

You know this is Star Wars, not Indianna Jones, right? wink

He's certainly got the hat, but I don't recall Han Solo having one! biggrin

M.
Chris Pratt would have been spot-on as Solo, not just in terms of looks but how he plays characters, general mannerisms and attitude etc... Well, except perhaps as AndyD in P&R hehe

Fully agree on Chris Pratt, already kinda busy with two of the biggest franchises in the world right now though. He may well clear $2.5b in box office in the space of two months this summer.

Hadn't thought of that.
That would make him the modern equivalent of Harrison Ford, At one time HF was in 6 of the top grossing films.

Of course if you adjust for inflation, Star Wars is still at number 2.
And I had to check this, but Empire is 13 and Return of the Jedi at 16. Raiders at 21. biggrin

I was almost on the nose with my prediction of 1.3 bill for the Last Jedi.

I'll say this'll be the first new Star Wars film that takes less than 1 billion.

Almost no chance, even if it gets slated by the critics, people will still want to see it. This is a film about one of the most recognizable characters in cinema.

It will be a smash, whatever.
