I enjoy this show but do find Tim's staged parts finding sketches irritating - however they are not as irritating as the point just before he hands over the keys and always asks the most ridiculous question along the lines of "so you have had to cope with a terminal illness/loss of family/any other obviously dire situation -how has that been for you? How on earth do you think it's been you complete moron
calm down dear......I presume the intention is to say after all this bad luck we hope your car being done for you cheers you up - which evidently it doesrgw2012 said:

I fear poor old Tim has become the 'Brewer' of Car SOS. I don't think he's even close to being as annoying as 'Awd out yah 'and' Mike but for 'core viewers' is a distraction from the bit we like, the welding and cutting bits.
Unlike Brewer though, Tim does wonders for broadening the audience - My Wife has little interest in cars, especially old ones over and above how it looks when it's finished the tale of woe and Tim’s bits she actually likes - which means I get to watch it at a sensible hour and not trying to cram it in when she's gone to bed.
Very late to this party, started watching this programme a few weeks ago, so catching up on Sky, so far have watched:
AC Aceca
UR quattro
Fiat 500
Morgan 3 wheeler
Loved the AC Aceca one because of the car and the reveal, loved the Fiat 500 one coz of the guy, the modest car and the trip to Italy, Morgan and quattro also fun
but the Pagoda one seemed a bit off - great to see these cars back on the road, but take a bucket of parts and rotted carcass worth not a lot and create a car worth £100k+, bit of a financial windfall for the owner (albeit owners all have a sad story)

Ahhh, jeez. Actual tears in my eyes. Poor bloke
Tears in my eyes at the start when his story is first told, tears in my eyes at the end when you can see he is emotional with elation, but at the same time his saddness is there because he can't see/enjoy it fully for himself.I hope & pray he progresses and gets to see it and god willing maybe drive it.
This series has had some real tear jerkers due to some very deserving owners.

That poor bloke! We all moan from time to time, but that guy has been through hell and seeing his joy as he received the car was wonderful.
If Fuzz and Tim see this thread - you and your team are top, top blokes - well done on a fantastic TV program. Keep up the good work!!
