Fast & Loud loses AK

Didn't mind last nights too much, agree it's a bit damp without AK.
One slight worry was last nights was a lot of Soap Opera and little Car (well Van) stuff.
Sadly what Richard Rawlings wants, his production and camera crew do. It’s become more brand Gas Monkey advertising and editing to hide the fact he’s actually supposed to be a massive ass hat in real life. One slight worry was last nights was a lot of Soap Opera and little Car (well Van) stuff.
It’d be a better show if it just followed the guys working on the cars rather than the fake drama with some of Richard and Dennis thrown in to fill the time that could be filled with actual cool stuff.

Sadly this seems to be the case with 99% of Discovery Channel shows, they start off well, it's all about the topic you're interested in and then by season 2 it's more about the people and their "wacky ways" than the thing that drew you in. Of course they dangle some of the content you like in there just to keep you watching but as time goes on they become less documentary and much more soap opera. This is what A-ron is up to these days...

Trying to plug a gap in the market for Ford truck parts, previously you needed a Chevy to easily get these parts.

Well, that and his new 'reality' TV show that's going in fit into the Discovery 9am Monday night slot in between series of Fast n' Loud and Misfits. https://www.arclightfab.com/

I watched ep. 2 and 3 last night and (as mentioned by other posters) the style has definitely changed. Most jarring so far has got to be the changed voice over guy, plus I miss the old title music because I fear change...
Presenting the new build with all the Monkeys is a bit painful, reeling off what is clearly a list of show sponsors and talking about "reaching out to <name of supplier>".
Let's see how much longer this lasts.

The sat round a table plannng the build but reminded me of one thing, Pimp my Ride. All it needed was the mention of building the whole interior from plexiglass...Presenting the new build with all the Monkeys is a bit painful, reeling off what is clearly a list of show sponsors and talking about "reaching out to <name of supplier>".

I saw that too. Looks like a shameless crib of F'n'L. They are trying to spice it up a bit by having bikes on it and one of the tuners is female although to be fair i've only heard of de ville before. I'll give it a go but at least we could have tried for something more british based and original but I suppose that wont sell in the good old US of A.

I’m more of a cut down odd sized pool table in my truck kinda guy Watched episode 2 last night and the van did look amazing when it was done. The guys can certainly do some good work we just don’t get to see it!
I’m a fan of this also, 280Z GMG built with Honda specialist Mad Mike for SEMA this year
The truck did look amazing, but they seemed to brush over the paint job that was going to take weeks to do, but was then done in 3 days. I guess it was pretty much full time for those 3 days, but that is what drove Aaron and KC away, so you have to hope that Mike Coy isn't going to walk too.
Agreed about the product placement. When the repeats hit Quest / Dave, there will be an awful lot of pixelated logo's and beeps / gaps where the manufacturers name is mentioned.
Much prefer Kindig Customs at the moment, but it makes me laugh how it is called bhin' Rides when shown later at night
