Hi, Can someone please advise on the best place to buy standard front discs which are 304mm x 30mm.

Thanks in advance.

Ray.

All I do is compare the prices of the usual suspects, which as far as I know are Powers Performance, Racetech, TVR Parts, there's also another company that people have bought from in Birmingham, can't remember their name though

Hopefully Brummie (Paul Chance) of CL braking will be along soon. Top man

I think (?) that Brummie trades under the Fortuna Motorsport tradename.

http://www.clbraking.co.uk/fortuna-moto-ltd looks like his website.

I got a set of front upgraded 225mm (?) drilled discs with caliper spacers from him a year ago as he had them on special offer. Were probably cheaper than the standard ones.

Nice little cheap uplift in braking performance when teamed up with new Ferodo DS2500 pads.

Unfortunately i think Fortuna have stopped producing for TVR ? I tried to get some for the Tuscan recently and was told they no longer have them as a stock item.

Hows the Tam going Bob?

Probably not very well with his tiny front brakes lol

I bought the same cheap kit last year 322mm drilled but have also heard he doesn't do TVR anymore

In that case get in touch with Martin at Reyland motorsport he did my custom 304x30 2 piece set up for the cerbera upgrade then my 350x32 2 piece when I switched to the tamora/sag 6600 calipers

Curved grooves that go through the edge of disc (to keep air pressure consistent between pad and disc).

Hi Allan

Tamora is still going well thanks, still loving it. Saw that you had brought yourself a Tuscan, hope that it is going well.

Tuscan is good thanks, had the front end painted last year and also had the interior stripped and retrimmed with more leather than you could shake a stick at !

Thinking of selling it now though !! - feels like i've been here before !
