Yes 14 was a good one agreed, also a guilty secret confession to enjoying CoCII even if only to see the Gamble meltdown.

3 episodes in and it's not the best is it...? Not bad but the contestants don't seem to have gelled with each other and so the team tasks and studio bits all fall a bit flat.

They're usually really good at casting each series but this one feels like a bit of a miss and it's all a bit low energy.....
Feel the same, seems to be just an ‘OK’ series rather than a belter.

Has Ivo Graham got some sort of condition / affliction?. I've never heard of him before & I notice on the studio filmed bits he doesn't seem to ever look directly look at Greg or Alex when for example answering their questions on what he has brought in for the prize task etc & can be quite stilted / robotic in his responses?

Maybe just awkwardly posh/poshly awkward? His Oxford Union address from 9 years ago was fairly confident and stable, but this interview shows more of what he’s been like on Taskmaster, so probably just a heightened version of himself, which is maybe why it’s so noticeable as he’s already quite tall.

Would love to know what was on Frankies prize task picture if it was bad enough to blur out laugh

Agreed! I'm finding it pretty disappointing so far. The past couple of series have been great from the first episode. This one hasn't though.

Drums task. I'm sending a hidden helping thing showing one angle to hit a load in one shot.

Thought that was one of the most lacklustre episodes of TM yet.

Yeah the tasks have all been weak so far and the only few amusing bits have come from the studio segments, mainly from Frankie.

On the whole it's just a bit dull to the point that I'm losing interest and picking up my phone at times....

It had been a long day and I was pretty tired but I looked up from "quickly" checking my phone only to realised I'd missed 4 attempts at a task I didn't even hear the rules for, I'll probably restart the episode again tonight and give it a proper go with my phone away from me.

I'd watched a repeat from series 8 earlier on (Iain Stirling, Joe Thomas, Lou Sanders, Paul Sinha and Sian Gibson) and found that one more entertaining even though it's probably the 5th time I've watched it.

Hopefully it's just my brain not being capable of enjoying it so late in the day as even bad Taskmaster is usually better than most other stuff on TV.

Me too. And I missed Alex’s ‘Caucasian’ joke first time around as a result.

Even bearing in mind I'd had a busy day and it was late fell asleep early. Woke up short time later, rewound to last point remembered, gave it 10 minutes, switched off, went to bed. Description of 'below par' is doing it a favour. Even Greg's introductions are just bizarre beyond reason.

Once in bed watched a full episode of Manhunt on ITV X before shutting down and off to sleep so not *that* tired.

Sorry Alex, Greg and contestants, v poor.

I did exactly the same but was able to rewind as I was on All4

It's missing the one or two contestants that add a spark. None of this lot are bad but it needs somebody hyper competitive and somebody bonkers to really kick it off.
