I do hope Tory favourite (they were pretty much given the Olympic Stadium by good old Boris) Karren Brady isn't implicated.

Newcastle united also raided, as were Marseille.

Suggest a title change to football clubs raided.

Awful club, awful owners, st tax payer funded stadium and a section of their fans are appalling hooligans - the trouble they caused at the start of the season due to a lack of police presence was disgraceful.

I hope that they're guilty and I hope that they get absolutely rinsed as a result, take their money and take their points!

I have to come clean.

When my old man used to take me to West Ham in the 1960's he used to pay for himself at the back of the chicken run, and stuff me under the turnstile. He used to give the guy a couple of bob, but I have an awful suspicion this might not have been declared.

Should I contact the Revenue?

Having to watch West Ham is its own punishment.

Not sure there is enough of a Tory link with the other two for Marsh.

Full of decomposing organic material, mainly methane.

Looks like West Ham and Newcastle were raised due to transfers done with Marseille.

Marseille look to be at the centre of it all...

Perhaps Payet got stuffed under the turnstile too. There seems to be a lot of it about.

It's to do with tax fraud in the UK so doesn't look like Marseille are at the centre of it

Depends on what is being alleged. If you are buying from UK teams and conspire to structure a deal such that it is cheaper for you but the UK club gets the same money (by evading tax), and then repeat that with another club ("hey it worked when we bought xx from West Ham") you could well be said to be central to it.

The early reports I saw on were that the arrests were part of an investigation into national insurance and income tax fraud.

Makes me think this concerns how image rights and similar are treated by clubs when takeovers are set up
