Must admit the latest Krill episode had me chuckling, and it felt like the characters were starting to get into their stride.

I was chuckling at the car rental jokes, and I ignored the fact someone from so far in the future would have ever heard of Avis.

Not sure the latest episode was a classic.

Suffered from the same thing Vogager often did when episodes were based on a planet. Everyone they accidentally bump into is integral to the plotline, just too convienent.

Good point. And someone had been watching Black Mirror...

On the whole though I think the shows got legs. I prefer it over the new Star trek anyway.

The latest episode got an IMDB rating of 8.4 ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt6845666/?ref_=tt_eps_c... ) so I guess it must have been well liked.

Personally I thoroughly enjoyed it but as I am not a fan of Twitter or reality TV the implications of the plot were well received.

Wouldn’t it make for a long and boring episode of you had to watch them ask 100+ people the same question and not advance the story though?

Up to ep7 and so far it's quite good. A bit "contemporary" and maybe taking inspiration form other sources but otherwise not a bad job. It's lighter in theme and also the lighting is closer to TOS and TNG whereas Discovery is pretty Dark. I do think they could step on each others toes as well if they are not careful.

Half way through season 1 thanks to 9putlocker.io and enjoyed it so far. Certainly well worth watching.

I sort of lost interest after episode 5 or so. Might have been down to binge overload though, so may go back for another look?

I had been watching discovery and got up to speed on that. now watched up to episode 5 of the orville. Discovery will be getting dropped I don't really care what happens to the characters and we still havn't had hardly a line from the redhead with the battle scar or the robot on the bridge. Yet the orville has given a good bit of screen time to everyone.

the practical joke played on each other had me and my friend in stitches.

The Orville is head and shoulders above Discovery in the entertainment stakes.

That’s like saying a week of non-stop passionate sex with Liz Hurley is better than Diane Abbot sitting on your face.
