Best ever Star Trek by a country mile...I literally couldn’t wait till the next episode, movie quality effects and a great story line the final few minutes of Ep15 was sensational.

Roll on series two.

Oh and Discovery has killed off the Star Trek movies too...what can they do to compete with this answer...nothing.
Star Trek 4 starts filming this year, apparently.

The films are a separate timeline. So all fine. I love them, just need a bit less lens flare!

I love them too. Cannon is irrelevant because of the new timeline, so an open book so to speak.

I loved the first season, and the trailer for season 2 looks great. I wonder if they are going to avoid having Spock, or are they just keeping him under wraps?

That idea of a message hidden in the fabric of time and space was covered in Stargate Universe, but unfortunately the show didn’t get a chance to develop the idea. It’ll be interesting to see what Discovery does with it.

I want to like it. It has good points. But it is not star trek. Yes the names are the same, ships similar etc. It feels like they have used the star trek name to generate interest but created something new.

Isn’t that a good thing?

Old Star Trek is... old. This new season looks to be a bit lighter in tone, and more about exploration.. surely that’s more “Star Trek”.

I've read that a young Spock will be in it.

Given Patrick Stewart has indicated some involvement in Discovery perhaps the Space and Time could involve Enterprise-E???

Glad to see Michael has toned down her ‘desperately need a poop’ face.

Looks good, and I wasn’t a fan of the first season.

Confirmed that Patrick Stewart’s new Star Trek series is not connected to Discovery.

I doubt we’ll see the “Big E” again, it’s a bit old hat! As in it looks very 1990’s.
