Caught the first episode on catch up last night......I don't think I've ever seen such an openly left wing biased show.Imagine Jim Davidson hosting a topical political show.....you'd have to imagine it because it would never get aired, well it was the opposite of that

Davidson is a racist misogynist. Is that the definition of right wing?

Far right wing, then Yes. But I doubt many people who are centre right share his views. (and I;m sure you're not equating anyone who talks sensibly about immigration as being default racist)

Sadly these days, Boyles views are pretty much anyone centre left all the way out to far left.

They do love to hate and shout so much....

He is but that's not necessarily confined to right wingers exclusively.
There's plenty on the left with the same views.

The 2nd episode was 30 minutes attacking May. I wonder what he'll make of the London fire, I'm guessing that will be solely the fault of the Tories and he'll want hanging brought back.Should make for interesting viewing if nothing else smile

Watched it last night, absolutely hilarious, many bullseyes on May, especially with the DUP.
Very good, very clever.

to be fair I do not doubt it. Quite frequently I find him very sharp (acidic may also be an appropriate phrase!) and funny. My issue is that if similar stuff was thrown the way at thornbury by a mainstream comedian there'd be accusations of sexism etc

What channel is it on?
Can you just imagine Abbott being the target, quiet a legitimate target who brings so much material to the table that is ripe for the piss taking, doubt it'll ever get made though.

I like it. And if people want to see some real lefty stuff they should watch The Last Leg on C4.

Have there been any right-wing comedians since the 1980's ?

They go for the biggest target. When Blair was in power, he got destroyed on a weekly basis. BBF were the KIngs back then, they were merciless, and again, very clever. THonryberry is a no-mark. May will get the kicking for as long as she holds onto power.
Boyle in the past has been pretty fair at his targets, he is an equal opportunity marksman, he'll always go gfor the big beasts.

I have always rather liked his humour...and his self deprecating slant is hilarious...I know he's left wing and I'm diametrically opposed to his point of view...but I still can't help laughing...

I was surprised how awkward his delivery was. stand ups usually know how to hold a crowd, but he looked nervous and was clearly just trying to rattle through a script he'd memorised. Awksies.

It hasn't changed since the 1st episode in any way.Anti May,anti Tory from 1st minute to last,it could almost be a Labour party political broadcast .
When Sara Pascoe said May was getting a bit too much stick,it should be the whole Tory party we should be trying to get rid of not just May.
They don't like democracy very much do they the left

He came on TV last night but I turned it off after about 5 mins. I thought he was just another scottish SNP party member moonlighting with a bit of stand up. Is he famous?
