For those of us who are not quitters and continue to watch, then moan about, this show you might want to check the series link on Sky. Mine had somehow removed the Walking Dead from the series link record but added the Talking Dead on the normal channel and on plus 1.

I've no idea how many times I've deleted the Talking Dead from the planner but it keeps coming back, to take off the Walking Dead but add a second copy of the Talking Dead is just taking the pee. Sky need a bit more work on this "smart" linking stuff.

My Walking Dead series link had gone too. I'll be watching and moaning for sure.

I bingewatched the first half of season 8, just like I did the first 4 seasons. It makes it so much better imo. Although there has been a lot of good action this season. I'll be watching the second half of this season 2 episodes at a time.

Just a smart system being smart, it's been tracking your internet posting history and knows you shouldn't be watching it.

I've wiped my mind of S8 pt1 (wasn't hard, I just told myself I was flashbacks of watching the A-Team as a kid) so I can't wait to tune in tonight because I KNOW it's going to be back to it's absolute best, a lavish budget, great writers, gripping storyline and heart wrenching moments will unfold before my eyes.

It's like F1, I anew every time it comes back knowing, this time it's going to be great again - but by the 2nd or 3rd one I know I'll be playing candy crush.

I'm watching the film Midnight Cowboy instead. I'll watch TWD on fast forward tomorrow, unless I read this thread first and delete it.

I still find it hard to follow - did Coral manage a couple of days of gardening before he became sick?

I enjoyed that episode. Finally one that goes back to the essence of what The Walking Dead was all about. Emotion, the fight for good, hope.

That being said, Gimple killing off Carl and Glenn ultimately hurts the show in the long run. These were the good guys that people had an emotional invesment in over the years. It weakens and cheapens the show. Glad Gimple has been relieved of his showrunner duties next season thankfully and replaced by Kang - great move but sadly probably way too late to save the show.

Killing off Coral hurts the show?

He's been one of the worst characters since the start.

Not too bad at all for a mid season starter!

Although the bit that went usual TWD annoyed me and that was the scene in the cinema when Morgan and Carol rescued Ezekiel. How can they all stand there and watch the guy they shot in the leg escape so easily? Ezekiel was about 5 yards from him holding a gun!

Other than that, not bad!

Agreed. Glen was a real loss and it was both great and shocking TV when he was killed. Coral has never really been a good character.

I'm not sure he was one of the worst...

The ten worst characters, in order, are

Worst? There are lot, lot worse characters than Carl. I personally thinking seeing his transformation on-screen from young boy to young man has been great.

So he deserves credit for getting older? wink

just watched it, I actually got up and started doing some housework during it. It was literally so dark onscreen I couldn't see what was going on and lost interest. The fact that the speech volume was so low didn't exactly help me get immersed either.
