is much better. S3 appeared on Amazon for free recently which was nice. Even nicer, and I don't know if it is a glitch in the Amazon matrix but I snuck in a bought the series for £0.99 as opposed to the £29.99 they usually want for this type of thing.
Yeah, I had the same, bought the latest series for £0.99. I just assumed it was a special offer I wasn't aware of.is much better. S3 appeared on Amazon for free recently which was nice. Seemed to be a crossover of The Walking Dead in the first episode of Season 4 of Fear The Walking Dead. I thought perhaps they were 'passing the baton' to the newer series, and maybe scrapping TWD (Haven't watched the past two seasons of that, became too much to bare).
Although the writers still insist on making the protagonists do the most stupid and illogical things..
I think season 9 will be split into 3 main storylines:
1) infighting between Rick/Michonne and Maggie/Daryl/Jesus. And at some point Negan will escape (probably another 'Henry' moment where someone goes in his cell to kill him but gets overpowered)
2) despite having spent the last few years scouring the countryside for miles in every direction looking for supplies, they'll discover a new group within 30 minutes walk of Hilltop.
3) they'll try to get rid of the massive herd in the distance, shepherding them away with lots of vehicles with the infinite fuel mode enabled, only for someone at hilltop to drop a piano out the top floor of the mansion and the walkers hearing that and diverting that way.

Seems, well, reading between the lines anyway they're limiting a lot of main characters to 6 episodes and there's talk of it being like series 1 (which of course was only 6 episodes).
Maybe they're going to put it out of it's misery?
Yes, Series 8 (and a lot of 6 and 7) were crap, but with some better writers and a better budget it could be great again, but equally, if they can it now I wouldn't be upset.
Actually, knowing the little I know about AMC, I'd think it's more likely that as the cast want proper wages finally, they'll kill the lot off and start afresh with new, unknown actors for $50k an episode or something.
