That Ruby is utterly stunning
Are they now contractually obliged to include a pretty but irksomely attention-seeking woman called Ruby in every series? And what's with the one who's clearly modelling her look on Dame Edna? Edited by hidetheelephants on Tuesday 11th September 21:10

Couldn't agree more. The 2 presenters now are far far better than I ever expected. I prefer Prue to Mary Berry as a judge and the change to CH4 seems to have had a relaxing effect on Paul which is nice to see. I thought last years contestants were the best we'd ever had and so far this year I haven't found anyone I don't like.
Moving to CH4 was the best thing that ever happened to the show.
Agreed. I am finding An Extra Slice far to drawn out though. I'm sure it only used to be half an hour but an hour is overkill. Tom Allen's new spot is a real cringe which is a shame as I quite like him on other things (in small doses!)Moving to CH4 was the best thing that ever happened to the show.

It's been an odd series so far - everything is up and down. Consistency is strikingly absent, apart from Rahul. All the others are good one week, bad the next.
That's what I was thinking. There were times last night where I thought any one of them could be on their way home.Hard to predict a winner this year. Initially I had Briony down, but she's struggled in the last 2 weeks so reckon she'll be gone next. Rahul is obviously the favourite at the moment, but I reckon Dan is in with a good chance. And hopefully Manon

Seems like a nutter to me. It's been an odd series so far - everything is up and down. Consistency is strikingly absent, apart from Rahul. Guess tougher attitudes later on.

Nah - too many fk ups so far. That kim joy whatever the hell her name is grates - they showed a clip of her boyfriend who owns a comic shop. Was all a bit weird. Chavvy Asian, Ruby(??) I rather fancy, both as a person, & for the win............ Had a feeling that would be the result as soon as they said Terry would be absent. Good call in my opinion, it would have been a little unfair otherwise. Although I do think it's just delaying the inevitable for Briony.
Thought Manon's showstopper was amazing, but I think it'll be between Rahul and Dan in the end as they seem the most consistent.

Seems like a nutter to me. ....I can't look at her without humming "The Frog Chorus" as I think she resembles one. If she ever wears green, that's it!
Ruby was ORANGE last night.
Don't normally watch GBBO, but it was quite amusing.
Maybe it was just me, but I just didn't get those showstopper, the concept of making this amazing looking thing, and then buggering it up by pouring lashings of goopy hot blood gore sauce all over it, though Kim Joy's reveal with the sphere cracking open in segments like a chocolate orange revealing a largely untouched inside was pretty good stuff.

Yeah, liked the little turtles being revealed like that. Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
