Can't chime in anything specific other than the ongoing disapointment that none of the baking appears great!

On a side note, has anyone else in this thread ever played Final Fantasy and is reminded of it by the little melodies they do in the show?

So after Linda was out last week for samosa pasties and churro eclairs. They're making cheeseburgers, Chinese and Indian stuff for Japanese week...

Spoiler alert

Its gone quiet here regarding “star” baker this week , is there some sort of antipathy to Lottie . She may be “eye candy “ but was she better than a couple of the others ? I wonder .
Mark L departing was predictable , the star baker less so , TBH Lottie was not our first choice

I think she deserved it this week, although they all did pretty well across the challenges, a big step up from previous weeks.

I like Lottie, not just because of how she looks, but she has a very dry sense of humour and banters well with Noel and some of the other contestants which came across quite well, especially this week.

She was top two from both the first challenges and then made the most Japanese cake that also looked the part - what's not to like?

Mark L was favourite to win a few weeks ago so I'm sad he's gone but you can't make an inedible cake on bake off

I think her sardonic, one-word, sarcastic answers are wearing thin. I don't think she's hugely likeable, although she is very attractive. This week aside, I think she's lucky to still be in.

I like Lottie myself, cant help but notice though the hair comes down and is thrown over one shoulder when Hollywood is judging. Its really, really obvious.

Bit better last night I thought, Lauras upside down pineapple saved her.

Yep this week was far better and I agree about Laura's cake, up until that point I was expecting her to go.

I had this debate with Mrs MOBB last night, she insisted a crescent was a semi-circle.

No it fking isn't.

Yes it fking is.

Thank god for google.

Not sure who is going to win this year, a couple of consistent ones perhaps but a lot are making basic errors that cost them.

I like Matt Lucas but preferred the Noel/Sandi combo.

Had none of them ever heard of a 'crescent moon'?

Or even a croissant? (slightly more far fetched, but they are bakers after all)
