Watched it all. It was ok. Not the best new series in a while, certainly not the worst either.

Unless I missed it they never explained why Gargon had it in for Tim Roth? When he told the guy to get a gun and kill him he said something about then having history but that was never explained.

Think S2 will be ste. Not sure how you can expand that storyline and take it any further.

Thought episode 1 was ok, most probably the scenery helps.
Episode 2 kept dozing off, not going to bother with the third.

Ten minutes in?o episode 1 and Tim Roth's accent is grating already.
How so?

We're on ep. 3... or 4 and the only thing I find annoying is the blond lad who did the shooting in ep. 1 He's a bit too much.

And there's a series 2? Sometimes they have to learn to just go through the story and end it. Can't see what a second series would add.

Had the potential to be a great program. After the first few minutes I was really looking forward to it but it sort of went downhill. The introduction of the bumbling bad guys let it down and it could have been a much better story. Would have preferred it if they'd have stuck more with a corporate oil story.

I thought the ending was ridiculous and totally unbelievable too, there's no way in hell she'd have sided with the guy that killed her five year old brother. I can understand she's pissed at her Dad but no way would she side with a psycho child killer

I do quite enjoy Tim Roth though, he's a got a funny swagger about him. Had quite a lot comedy moments about it which were good. Couldn't work out why he kept picking fights with the biker crew unless it was because of the destructiveness of being an alcoholic?

Better than Riveria for sure but only 6.5/10 from me.

I'm 4 episodes in, but unlikely to return, which is unusual for as I even stuck with Riviera!

I agree with the other points here, it's essentially nonsensical hogwash and I like Tim Roth too.

I kept putting off watching the last 3 or 4 eps as I wasn't really convinced by any of it. Finally battled through them last night, with a lot of fast forwarding, just to see how it turned out. The scenery was truely the best thing it in.

They're not really planning to make a second series are they? Unless it's something like True Detective with completely different characters, I can't see that flying at all. I certainly wouldn't waste any more time following the antics of the current bunch of characters, even after they'd been whittled down a fair bit by the end.

Hmmm... Quite enjoyed it until it went a bit Homeland with the daughter, at the end.

Lots of loose ends to tie up and a lot more to learn about Jack's past methinks.

Christina Hendricks' character could be the focus of the second, if she's turning 'bad'...

I'd be in for the 2nd season but wouldn't see it through if it didn't grab me immediately.

Same here. I'll usually stick with a series but episode two was so poor I just can't be bothered with another.

Genuine lol moment in ep8 with the car keys. Liked the "dead south" soundtrack too. The scenery was amazing, some nice camera shots.

Too many loose ends though, which put a dampener on it for me.

I finished watching it last night, each episode made me want to watch the next so in that respect it was a success but ultimately I was a little disappointed by it all despite having put aside my need for things to be super realistic.

The cinematography made me want to move to Canada.

And I'll echo the comments above... Christina Hendricks cloud9

It's one of those that all makes sense when it finishes, stick with it.

I think it's Banff national park - west of Calgary. It's really stunning.

Just watched it all this week.
Some thoughts

Yes, there was a lot of mumbling, and Roth the mumblrey fker didn't ruin it, but it did get a lil samey.
Parts of it were very cliché, parts were really good, it was a lopsided but overall enjoyable watch.
The time bouncing around got tiring, once or twice is cute, but constantly just overuses the gimmick and it gets stale very quickly.
Nice coming together of plot, had me guessing for a bit.
