For a lawman with a past series one series that should never be forgotten is

Banshee.

The series against which all others are measured.

Loved Banshee and Quarry. Real shame Quarry got cancelled it had a really gritty 70s feel to it and story could easily continue. Banshee ultra violent, first 2 seasons best, the later ones got a bit OTT.

Just finished watching this. We enjoyed it up until ep 9 which was the back story ep. The wheels started to come off for me during ep 8 when Gagnon's character (who was nicely sinister) was pathetically dealt with. Apart from that it really wasn't made clear exactly why he had it in for Jack or where the connection was between him and the "gang". I didn't buy why Whitey hated Jack so much after ep 9, it just added to the unbelievabilty of it all. Why was he so attached to the black guy? Why did Hendricks' character turn? Why didn't the women report what had happened in the house with Gagnon? I have many more questions. The nonsense fairly piled up by the end.

On the plus side the best character was Frank, the moments of humour were welcome relief. There was an overall feeling of Fargo/Fortitude which is a good thing in my book but way too much in the way of nonsensical motivations bundled in for it to leave a good feeling. Underwhelmed and disappointed by the end having enjoyed most of it. Also I can't see where they're gonna get series 2 from.

Was watching Sanctuary yesterday and recognised the tall baldie, then I realised it was only Christopher Heyerdahl, a stalwart of all the Canadian sci-fi scene; such as Sanctuary, Stargate SG1 and Atlantis.
Never even clicked in Tin Star.

Never even clicked in Tin Star.
Also in (Vanessa) Van Helsing, as well as something I can't remember.
