Same here, thanks for the heads up.

BIL may join me, he's looking into timings; works in London and Thursday is his first day back at work after his hols, if not it'll just be me.

Negative, it was only postponed. Judgement day is inevitable.

T1 and T2 lastnight was good. Hadn't seen T1 in a while, and I hadn't really noticed some of the stuff linking between T1 and T2, like dogs detecting terminators. T1 effects look a bit iffy now, but for pre CGI practical stuff it's fine.

Went to the T1/T2 double bill last night.

Bit nerdy, but while it was the theatrical release, I thought there was a line missing in T2?

And no, I'm not spoiler tagging stuff from a 25 year old film in a thread explicitly for discussing the next one!

When John and the T800 are unearthing Sarah's weapons cache in the desert, John says about "riding around in helicopters, learning to blow st up" - now, I thought that even in the original release, that line continues with his comment about moving to a regular school and "all the other kids were into Nintendo", and it's only the next bit of dialogue, about whether the T800 feels fear, that was added for the special edition?

Or is the Nintendo line a special edition only one too?

It's been a long time since I first saw the film!

Same. Epic cinema. Such lovely colouring, the shots, the details...nice.
I made the mistake of watching T5 last year..or whenever....jeez what a colossal decline. Those 80's brands should probably be left alone.

They seem to have put in bold the part of the script that's not in the theatrical cut,but they haven't bolded the Nintendo line.

The latter half, yes, I know that's Special Edition only, but it's the Nintendo one that's bugging me.

I'm going to have to dig out my copy and see!

THat's good recollection man. I don't recall the lines. I watched Predator at the pics last (or year before) and noticed a scene that I'd never seen in the telly/rental version.

If my recollection were good, I'd remember correctly one way or the other!
