I’m uncertain about it. The first episode was pretty much in the previews in its entirety.

For those who don't have access to the US episodes, C4 have confirmed they have signed the rights and it's tentatively scheduled for broadcast on E4 sometime after Spring 2018.

C4 have brought forward the UK broadcast, from their original plan of Spring '18, and it will now start on Thursday 22nd February at 8.30pm straight after the return of TBBT S11 at 8pm.

Just watched the first episode. A bit meh. Texan accents a bit unfathomable at times. The stand-out moment by far was the "moustache" comment, and quite possibly worth watching for that alone.

I think he's been mentioned a few times. He turned out a typical redneck with a drink problem and an IQ in single figures.

I enjoyed it, it's quiet sweet really rather than out and out funny.

His family is a lot less dysfunctional than it seemed to me when he talked about it on TBBT.

For me, it's slightly better than series 853 or whatever of TBBT.

Also - Sheldon's 'Mom' in this, played by Sheldon's 'Moms' Daughter from TBBT. Both hot too I don't mind admitting.

When he was 15, so about 6 years from this series.
