With this theory Jade or Harrison will win. My money is now on Harrison,

Am I over thinking this?
Their businesses usually to be successful on the show need to be based on their current experience.

Harrison - property development and landscaping - https://www.linkedin.com/in/harrison-jones-ba11394...
Sugar already does property.

Jade English - PR & Marketing background - https://www.linkedin.com/in/itsjadeenglish/
Doesn't Sugar find all that boring? And I don't think Sugar will consider another blonde with the surname English without reaching for his lawyer's number and a background check to make sure she's not the evil revenge filled sister of Stella.

its definitely "managed" as a TV process now, much more so than the early years, having watched every season.
Realistically if Sir Alan turned up at 8am at the house and knocked, he'd probably get ignored and have to go away until the day after...
i would like to see behind the scenes (once perhaps its finished as an idea) as to how they spliced it together, how many days/weeks the actual tasks are filmed over, what they know of the "business plans" prior to the interview stage etc.

be cool also if they revisited previous years "characters" to see how they ended up with the business, even if they were not the winner.

Great show this week.

Anisa - she was awful last week at presenting; no wonder others had no confidence in her when she put herself forward as a candidate for PM. She’s from PR background isn’t she? How can one seemingly be so flustered and overwhelmed all the time be successful in her profession? confused

Elizabeth - she must be on the spectrum. Performed well on the second day (despite flaffing around in the morning and keeping the clients waiting) and won the task for the team. Also she took it well when Lord Sugar made fun of her in the boardroom, and for that I respect her and I’ll be rooting for her.

Joanna - lucky to have Elizabeth by her side. How could she mess up so badly on the first day pitching to the Spa guy? Be enthusiastic, show willing, ask the right questions...... it’s not hard is it? I reckon she’s ‘a bit of a princess’ as well and not used to people saying no / disagreeing with her.

James - Despite the win, I wish Lord Sugar would fire him this week. Made mistakes last week (picking Norman Village) and this week (pricing), and showed no leadership at all. Elizabeth saved his butt.

Anyway, I had no idea the amount of money people would spend on their pets!

Crazy, there's no way we'd spend that sort of money - £100 to clear the garden of dog st! And where did they find these dirty fkers who let it get that bad in the first place? Pretty disgusting really. Here's a thought - why not pick it up straight away after the dog has done it idea

Why does Michaela not wear the comedy specs during the tasks ?

Spotted this last week too.

Saves them for the boardroom...confused

Elizabeth has just given a list of her skills. Why do I think this'll end up as a train wreck?

All of her talents in food preparation and presentation.

Didn't she make a complete mess of an earlier cooking challenge?

Probably because the walk of shame is shot at the start of the series and maybe she wore them for it, so has to wear them in the boardroom incase she gets fired for continuity.

A recipe with saffron in it will push up the price a tad.

I remember a team throwing saffron in their food-based task a year or two ago. Do these people ever watch the programme and learn from previous candidates' mistakes?

Claude just said, "There's not a vegetable in sight".

Well, Claude that's your opinion and you're entitled to it.

There was a smelly soap challenge where they used sandalwood instead of cedarwood, which bankrupted them.

Use turmeric in the rice, cheaper, nicer and you get the same yellow colour without pissing in the pot.
