On ep2. Shows promise. I just hope there aren’t continuous flashbacks to his past though.

Now on ep9. Far better than I thought it would be. Much more depth of character than the films with Tom Jane and Ray Stevenson.

That whole scene bugged the crap out of me. I think one of my biggest gripes with it was all the stones and dust being kicked up from the camera car, making it look like there were 3 vehicles in the chase.

Other than that, Bernthal is The Punisher. Spot on. I'm on 11/13.

I'm more irritated that they killed that 60's 'Stang!

I've watched the lot. Really enjoyed it, there's just something about a good old revenge story that works.

I know a few SF guys admittedlty no USSF but I know in real life they're much better operators than they're made out to be on this.

Quite a bit of CGI in parts of that, I suspect the shiny classic car was actually fine.

Anyway I enjoyed it, one of the better efforts, lots going on. Plenty of violence & gore but didn't feel like it was being fetishised as per some more mainstream stuff.

Critics don't seem so impressed but that seems more to do with politics & a shallow perception of the story ('angry white man shoots people') rather than a proper critique. Actual viewers seem very happy with it.

I watched the first episode last night and loved it's build up right up to the final "punishment" scenes - The mobster scene was brilliant and I usually hate dark scenes.

"Welcome back Frank" biggrin

I had to force myself to, at half 12, turn off otherwise I'd still be watching it now.... Brilliant - Loved it and I hope they commission a season 2 (Unlike that Luke Cage crap...)

Not downloadable frown

Means I'll have to watch at home rather than on the train, although on the train is probably not appropriate for The Punisher...

Funny how the red 2.3 ecoboost Mustang sounded like a GT350 5.2. biggrin

But Dolph is such an accomplished actor. How could you make a joke about this multi award winner? confusedlaugh
