Seems to be another case of someone waiting to be a writer who hasn't bothered to read or understand the subject upon which he is writing. For those interested in the complexity of the character, watch the fun like who is the best Punisher vid by Rossatron I posted.

I am amused that NAZIs might find the Punisher appealing, when NAZIs are the type of scum neo or otherwise that he would exterminate in his bloody crusade.
He's also pretty clueless on Batman, Bats started out as a cold blooded killer.

Thanks, I liked that. I'd like to see what he thinks of the show. Will have to give Dolph another chance.

Up to episode 4 now, getting better.

I'm fairly new to Marvel and the characters, thanks to Netflix. However, one thing I don't understand is that all the marvel characters have some form of "super powers". But the punisher, whilst a super special forces type, doesn't.

Can anyone explain please?

I don’t know what there is to explain. He hasn’t got powers. He’s a badass.

Not everyone in the Marvel universe has powers.

In Daredevil, wasn't he part of a group that was given some big "uppers"?

See Batman.

A lot (if not most) of Marvel characters have small or not much super-powers, a considerable chunk have none. When Marvel boomed in the 60s, Stan Lee wanted the interaction/characters to be as big a driving force between the stories as the powers. There are a few Gods, like Thor or Hulk, but not many. In the 90's though it went silly.
Half of the Avengers have no powers, though Captain America is 'enchanced.'

is Frank a former SF in this? He was a marine back in the comic.

Thought he still was a marine, but a bit specialist like Force Recon?

I've just blitzed Ep 7-13. Utterly brilliant, darker and more violent than Daredevil I thought, but with the same level of intensity. Really hope there's another season, a Netflix subscription is worth it for this and Daredevil alone.

Wow, what a brutal series!

Take the introduction from Daredevil and builds on that very well.

Jon Bernthal makes the character his own. Deserves further seasons.

I am up to Ep4. Pretty brutal and Jon Bernthal fits the role well. I didn't realise Thomas Howell was still going; he's looked after himself.

Two great episodes, the brutality and violence goes up a notch in my opinion. Awesome.

Best series I've seen in a very very long time, as a long time huge fan of Mr F Castle, this series pleased me immensely.
