Harry for the win, Fleur and Emily equally deserve it, John has been a good egg
The right last 4 imo from what we have been shown, its rare I get sucked into reality tv
But this lot have smashed it

The cyclone should be fun - not sure how Harry will cope but i reckon Emily, Fleur & John will just have a massive laugh tbh. Evidently Holly will also be taking part in the Extra Camp version too.
Quite a few people seemed to have missed the point of what James said / why ITV showed that bit. It was all to do with the fact that people think that just because you're in a successful band that you must be minted / living the millionaire lifestyle, when that's not the case.
What he said was that in The Vamps best year (their first) he earned c£250k after taxes, management, record label deductions, etc, but since then he's earned much less. That was countered with Harry's references to some distinctly average football players being paid six figure sums every week, even if they don't do anything, to give it some balance.
James just comes across as a kind, decent, level headed person tbh who's just been honest about his earnings vs what the public perception is.
Although this is PH so i guess it's not surprising that when "six figs" get mentioned somewhere it's a call to arms Frankly i'm surprised we haven't had more intense frothing from the NP&E crew over the fact he asked his girlfriend about Brexit

Yeah I took it that way too and it was impressive how honest he was. £250,000 is obviously a massive chunk of money but he said that's what he earned at his band's peak. I don't know much about the band but the nature of the music industry means they may never come close to that, and it's not enough to retire on.
It was quite interesting. I think it's actually a sign that the music industry had so much money flowing through it because they'd been ripping off fans for decades. The Napster revolution brought it back down to earth, and ultimately I think that's great.
Now, how do we do the same with football

I’ve warmed to him over the course of the series. He seems like a decent chap.Quite a few people seemed to have missed the point of what James said / why ITV showed that bit. Same here, by all accounts this has been different. Always had a soft spot for Harry not so for John but I couldn't say I would be at all upset whoever wins. Emily is just so sweet and completely batty and Fleur is just like superwomanjohnxjsc1985 said:

He didn't do himself any favours talking about people acting, and was clearly gutted that got picked up, but don't think it changed the result.
I still hope either Emily or Harry win, he looks the favourite at the moment. Big surprise for me has been John, I thought I'd detest him but he's been great. He and Emily have been very funny to watch at times. And he got to stare inside Emily's towel, bd!

The fuss made by them all when they got to see heir ‘loved ones’ was a bit cringe. They’ve been in there 2 and a half weeks, it’s a tv show where they are getting paid well.
It’s not like they have been away for 9 months facing death in afghan or similar, or a is month patrol in a sub. I’m guessing Fleur goes away for all sorts of holidays and doesn’t see her sister for months. Yet 18 days on a tv show and they turn to mush.

Yeahh that annoyed me too for the same reasons. It’s not like they have been away for 9 months facing death in afghan or similar, or a is month patrol in a sub. it isn't a holiday though is it. They have been deprived of food and basic hygiene lack sleep and have long periods of boredom its bound to stress them out and then they have to endure humiliation and all sorts of insects so I can see how they may be rather stressed. That being said they do know there is an end in sight

Agree it's not a "holiday" per se.It's not being sent to the Siberian salt mines to break rocks in starvation conditions either. The participants have all gone in of their own free will knowing exactly what they will get given that the programme has been aired annually for the last 15 years with very little variation.
It's an opportunity only available to a few people (who have "celebrity status") to pick or choose whether they want to boost their profile by spending 3 weeks on TV and earn between £15K and £600K in the process, depending on who they are.
I would bet that a large proportion of the population would endure 3 weeks of crap food, crap shower facilities, crap sleep and a bit of boredom for £15K minimum after 21 days, never mind the sums that more well-known names receive.
It's not even as if they are any danger either, if they sprain an ankle a doctor is on hand immediately. None of the creatures they encounter can give anything more than a nasty nip, any task at height is backed up by 3 safety lines etc etc - the programme would never get insurance otherwise.
