Watched the first episode and get the feeling it could be as good as The Night Manager.
Seven more episodes to go so could develop in to something a bit riveting (hope so!).

A bit slow to start but that added real impact when it all kicked off.

Looks good so far. Missus wondered why Eddie Jordan had a funny accent.

David Milliband as the lead was an interesting choice..

Thought it a bit wooden to begin with, but has signs of promise.

It was just starting to drag when suddenly it stepped up a gear.

Bit of a shonky looking lock on the door of his parent's house though!

Yes, enjoyed the first episode and will watch the second.
About the title: is "McMafia" a reference to the McDonalds analogy in the script? I was half expecting some Glaswegian criminal involvement!

I was impressed with yesterday's episode so here's hoping it continues in that fashion!

I think so, maybe he’ll want to become such a large ‘franchise’ it models McD’s & does away with the chap who was nearly assasinated?

I know this is based on a non-fiction book and it's meant to be about the world of crime and all that but I can live without some brutal human trafficking storyline - the rest of it isn't entertaining enough to balance out the grimness.

Not as good tonight. Agree with the above about human trafficking...though I imagine it will be intertwined somehow.

Sunday's needs to be able to step up a gear again if I'm to persevere.
