Why is this fund manager getting as involved as he is?
Move the money, leave the mob stuff to the mobsters, etc.
I stuck with it last night, then at the end wondered, "WHY the fk did I bother?!"
I am in the same boat, and now giving it up entirely - too many other good series aboutMove the money, leave the mob stuff to the mobsters, etc.

Why is he involved - because despite having zero personality or emotions he is very upset about the murder of his uncle. He also seems to have gone from being allergic to his dodgy family background to ripping off heroine-importing mobsters.
His uncle was a massive bell-end and I was pleased when his character was killed, so I am struggling to back the main character or his cause.

I'm hoping he's looking long term at the big picture and looking to shaft the Russian, Israeli and Mexican to become The Don, Mr Big Cheese, sort of Breaking Bad style.
now that would be great, but I am 5 episodes and see no breadcrumbs of an exciting plot path like that, Alex also seems to be boring and wooden to go thereraceboy said:
Although I could hardly hear a word either of them were saying, gave up completely on the closing comment after rewinding it 3 times and turning the volume up to a daft level.
"give my regards to your family"I remember as it looked important so I rewound it 4 times till I got it
