Still confused about exactly why Alex is suddenly so deeply involved in the detail of the criminal stuff.

After all his money laundering appears utterly inept.

Am I the only one who thinks Eddie Jordan changed careers and took up acting in this?

It does seem odd that he is making the decisions on such big issues.

Agree with several posters about how slow this drama is. More importantly, I still don't understand why Alex thinks he needs to destroy Vadim. Once Uncle Boris was "removed" the Rodman family was no threat to Vadim. Now, they very much are.

Meanwhile, can a vending machine really access a site's main computer system?

Nope. You could fit a device in it and potentially gain access but natively it's not possible.

Alex wanted revenge, but thought he could do it at arms' length. Instead he's gradually being drawn in and I'm guessing ultimately he's going to get his hands very dirty.

Well I've seen vending machines that linked their charging systems to the local network infrastructure so if you were incompetent and didn't partition the vending network from everything else in the comms room then what they did might work.

So not impossible you could stick something inside a vending machine case to gain access and have a play.

The way they did things wouldn't work though.

Every SINGLE person has their mobile phone on vibrate, and yet every one of them buzzes so loud that they can hear it over a crowd of people, or when in the shower in another room.

Have to agree with the above few posters. At the moment, it doesn't make much sense for dermot o'leary to be going after a dangerous Russian mafia - uncle Boris made a bad decision and got what he deserved. But you can't tell what he's thinking or trying to convey as he has one expression which appears a funny mixture of being smug and tired

I tried and failed to post this earlier due to a silly phone.

50% done and I'm still watching this.

Can't believe that matey could be the next 007.

I can see him in the role more than I can see Tom Hiddleston. Needs a better hairstyle though.

If you saw him in that Sarah Lancashire cop thing you'll realise he can act proper psyco.

Indeed but in this it's less Happy Valley acting and more like his Grantchester acting. I could never see him as Bond.

I'm still with it, but it's a bit style-over-substance now. I've sat through half of it so I might as well stick until the end.

Even a great hacker who could gain access through the vending machine would surely not have all the inside knowledge of container handling to be able to locate and divert a specific container to not be loaded. And surely the port security system would be secure on another level to the vending / cargo handling? Would have been easier to bribe the gate guard and crane driver and just drive off with it.
