The more I think about it the less inclined I am to go again. It was a pretty dull experience, my legs still hurt from standing for hours on end and it's a long drive there and back.

I might be persuaded if the guest was Linda Carter but that's unlikely.

Seriously? Block? Again? So soon?
He doesn't feature for more than a couple of minutes and plays a minor part in the piece he's in.

In the studio on Tuesday there was mention of March for the new series.
When I asked the production team they said the series will start on the last Sunday in February.

See my comments in the "Top Gear Audience" thread.
Free tickets or not, I felt the audience (an essential part of the production don't forget) were rather poorly looked after.

Bloomin’ long day and my legs are killing me, but today will now always be remembered as the day I got a man hug from Joey!

As an actual car show I’d say I’m enjoying new TG more than GT to be honest, it’s more aimed at the audience who know something more than a car has 4 wheels. Plus it’s quite cool how they make a point about showing the presenters doing chunks of the high speed drift stuff from angles that show they really can do it.

Actually I should add, we got to see the ‘here’s what’s coming up this series’ vid yesterday, and it looks awesome!

Will be interesting to see the viewing figures this season. Last season was a proper reboot so we should see if has the strength the survive/grow on its own.

Personally it's not something I watch, but that doesn't mean I want to see the franchise die.
1. You post on a forum topic about it.
2. You're interested about this versus last seasons viewing figures, presumably enough to look them up when they are out.
3. You're aware last season was a "proper reboot" so presumably watched it, or read about it.

However "It's not something I watch" !! laugh

WTF

I'm off to post on Mum's net about the nest season of The Real Housewives of Potomac, it will be interesting to see how the lives of six women, including Gizelle Bryant, Katie Rost, Karen Huger, Charrisse Jackson-Jordan, Robyn Dixon and Ashley Darby, get on next season.....personally it's not something I watch, but.......ohh hold on, I couldn't give a toss, because I DON'T WATCH IT!

Looks good.

But I'm mindful that the S02 Grand Tour trailer looked good too. And as we've seen most of the bits in that trailer now, looks can sometimes be deceptive. But it seems Top Gear has filmed a lot more segments, so even if 1 or 5 are not great there's still options.

In fact, much as I hate to compare to TGT since you'll attract the CHM super fan bois who can't bear criticism of their deities.

But looking at the trailer for the next episode S02E09 It all just seems a bit sad frown And a million miles away from the trios past triumphs...

Pointless task - check
Swearing just because they can - check
Fake stupidity - check
Bad attempts of childish humour - check

Shame how the mighty have fallen. Can’t wait for Top Gear now, gonna be so much better than TGT.

Top Gear presenters Chris Harris and Eddie Jordan escaped without injury after a car they were driving in Monaco burst into flames during filming.

Harris was behind the wheel of a new £50,000 Alpine sports car on Monte Carlo’s SS17 stage with Jordan in the passenger seat driving up a hill on Monday morning, when its warning lights came on as the engine cut out.

They stopped the car immediately and the presenters made it out safely as flames emerged from underneath the vehicle.

The car burnt through in just four minutes, and Alpine is now investigating the incident.

Neither Harris nor Jordan, who were both wearing fireproof overalls and gloves at the time, were injured or suffered from smoke inhalation.

Harris said: “I first realised I needed to get out when I opened the door and the flames went up my arm.

“Sadly the car was lost and it always makes me sad to see a beautiful car destroyed.”

Jordan said: “Doing a stage of the Monte Carlo Rally was a dream come true for me. The car was stunning – so light on its toes.

“It was dancing around the mountain and Chris was driving it beautifully.”

He added: “It’s such a shame we didn’t finish the test, but these things happen.”

A spokesman for the BBC Two show said: “There was an incident during filming in Monaco last Monday morning with an Alpine that led to a fire taking hold of the main vehicle – which Alpine is now investigating.

“Thankfully Chris Harris and passenger Eddie Jordan, both exited the stationary vehicle unhurt.”

The motoring show, led by Friends star Matt LeBlanc, will return to screens later this year for its 25th series.

For the hard of thinking I've watched a few episodes of each season. I don't hate it, but haven't ended up watching the whole season.

I've also seen the odd Coronation Street episode but I wouldn't say it's something I watch. It's not a hard concept.

As I said, I hope it keeps its viewing figures, or even grows now that it has its own identity. I may not be an avid viewer but it doesn't mean I want it to fail.

There was really no way they could have killed Jordan off?

I don't think anyone would complain if they were to get rid of Jordan.
