Number 13 is so annoying! I'm disappointed with no 1 I thought she'd last longer

I'm starting to think number 13 is the second mole.

The whole men v women thing is a bit of of a farce, the women have continually been at the back, didn’t carry the log up the hill. I wouldn’t want any of them on my side in a fight.

I think Ant in particular wants them to be st to prove a point that they can t be there.

That doesn't make sense as he is mates with the one who actually is SF

I think what Ant and the rest think is that some women can be very good and useful in an SF setting (you don't have to look far to see some exemplary cases from recent times, NI, WWII and beyond) and should have an opportunity to apply and test themselves against the course; however the course cannot be changed to accommodate resultant gender balance (i.e. equality of opportunity, not outcome). I think since '16 2 women have applied for SEAL with one dropping out and one early in the process. Didn't we already see all this in Demi Moore's scintillating performance of GI Jane back in the nineties...?

Sorry to see No1 go, not much you can do if you lose the altitude lottery, No13(?) was no lose, very immature.

Ant made a bit of a dick-move last night IMO.

He disliked 13 the moment he clapped eyes on her, but laughing in the face of that massive climb and forward descent seemed to be the final straw for him. I don't recall any of them mentioning you had to complete each task with hardman scowl on your face at all times.

Special forces is not a game. It is life and death, or worse. So many SF brothers’ book manuscripts and ideas for game shows lie cold and dead in forgotten drawers in agent’s offices around the world. Treating a SF game show like a game show is showing massive disrespect to the fallen channel four pilots that never came back.

I think the point is that if you have the energy to laugh and giggle, you could be putting more effort into the task you were given.

Would you want to trust your life to 13 in a hostile situation? She'd probably just cry.

Fair play to the girl who took on 16 in the boxing, she's got the right attitude.

Does anyone happen to know the make of those grey hooded fleeces all the recruits are wearing?
Looks like these:

There are cheaper lookalike ones on the 'bay, but they don't have toggle-tighteners for the hood like the ones in the show. Look quite snug actually.

I suspect gravity is doing the bulk of the work in that situation.

I'm not sure I'd trust any of them (Swedish mole aside of course) but perhaps I'd trust the one who could actually complete the task with good humour over the ones who's legs gave up on them at the top? Or the one who lead her team to the top in the log and tyre exorcise way, way ahead of the other team? She seemed to lead from the front carrying both tyres for most of it.

I'm not her biggest fan tbh, but for me it's a personality clash - Ant's personality is a never-ending stream of clichéd motivation posters, that's how he motivates himself. Other contestants have their flaws explored, they have a little blub in the interrogation room and given motivation by the DS, but 13 was dismissed from the start as a 'silly girl' and managed out, mostly because Ant didn't like her, the rest seem indifferent at worst.

Who was the other one who left, 11?

Glad to see 13 go, it is meant to be a serious competition that they should take seriously (like the chap who spoke to them after the beasting).

I am disappointed we didn't get to see 9 (Petra) fight though, maybe she lost ...

I think he was the chap with the oddly bright blonde hair, I'm not sure he got any screen time up to the point they called him out.

It was probably the overload of adrenaline as she completed the abseil.

In the previous series, after a similar abseil, a contestant (male) gave Foxy a hug. There was no punishment for that.

I think he's just picking up on characteristics that would grind your gears in a high-stress/close proximity situation, she would mine anyway.

Let's also not forget that the 'impromptu punishment' wasn't unplanned for, they just needed an excuse and were given one on a plate. It's like when they ask people to say who is weakest - they don't care, it's just a psychological sickner.

Yeah, it looks exhilarating. I can see me smiling all the way down and possibly being giddy....or terrified.
