I want to see them actually working on a car in some way. Not just shots of headless torsos and arms doing bits.

The fundamental thing they have failed to grasp is fashion: Custom cars are out. Restomod is in.

Bronco....aarrgghh

Standing with a spring in his hand and calls it a damper

No mention of the body change. The original vehicle had opening doors and apertures to suit the final had shaped opening. I have a feeling that when I saw it at the Birmingham show I thought the body was fibre glass - may be wrong

Just watching Salvage Hunters Fiat 500. Compared to GWG, they paid £4000, saving £11000 on the base vehicle. I think it was either Gas Monkey or Wheeler Dealers that said you make your money when you buy well in the first place.

I just caught the end of the Fiat EV 500.

Wow, what a gratingly irritating bunch of people. I thought the one was annoying on 5th Gear but this is another level.

If a client says £40k and wants it white, you don't chuck garish stickers on it and charge £46500 and the Goblin neon sign was total gash. It all looked nasty and cheap and don't get me started on having a dog in the car.
Its good to get any new motoring shows on tv but it’s just painful to watch.

The Fiat 500 episode was so amateurish, they are not even getting into any serious work on the cars themselves, and over paying for the car in the first place, then paying a fortune for work being done by other people and then dumping the bill on the customer over his pre-agreed budget - what?! What a load of bks that was. It also looked totally fake when they did deal with the buyer.

Plus it feels like there is zero chemistry between them all and lead presenter comes across in a really annoying way with no on screen charisma. Watch 2 minutes of Richard Rawlins and his team on Gas Monkey and you will have seen more entertainment in those 2 mins than you will see in an hour of this show.

The "turbo fans" looked ridiculous on the front only.

Either do all 4 or none at all.

Jimmy's comments that you could feel the down force at the front from the turbo fans was laughable.

It was a fkin automatic FFS.

I find it very hard to believe that the founder of the Supra owner’s club paid £27.5k for that complete and utter abortion of a motor car.

I can't watch more than 3 minutes before turning it off.

I watch Fantom Works, Sin City Motors, Fast'n'Loud and even Wheeler Dealers so this programme is a total embarassment.

it's a shame as Goblin works started well. Then just seems to keep going down hill.

Was GWG always a motortrend/Discovery type show. I know it's on quest but it's also on Motor Trend I subscribe to. Seems many of the shows start well
then become more scripted and just the same ever time. take something, throw money at it, but always have a buyer and just the right amount to pay for that all important 20% ffs

And one thing that is getting on my tits is one of the three always hates the car they buy. either as they dont like it or it's a rust bucket

You really need to watch Roadkill, Engine masters, Roadkill garage etc on either youtube or motortrend on demand.
Roadkill is some of the best car TV for me for many years including TG and the GT

No it didn’t. It started with them crashing and urinating on a mk2 Escort.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was 'for TV'. No way would anyone pay £27.5k for that.

They bought some crap fiberglass body kit. Got someone else to fit and paint it. Did kids graphic for the wrap. Got someone else to fit it. 'Designed' some crap brake coolers, no idea why, only needed if you're racing it!! They wobbled, so probably put the wheels out of balance and vibrate through the steering as well. Ditto the spoiler, no use below 60mph. Incidentally, on the MOT for the car, the rear spoiler got an advisory !!

PS The Supra owners club didn't like it either !!!
