Duel is awesome - hardly ever on TV!
I love Duel. If I remember correctly they accidentally released it on DVD once upon a time but quickly pulled it (I can't remember why) so only those with pre-orders with certain companies received it. It was worth quite a bit but I wouldn't part with mine.
The first time I saw it, I must have been 12 or so and caught it one one of those late BBC showings. It was great and it stuck with me, I've not watched it many times and I think this was the first time I'd seen it in full. It really is a masterclass in direction and acting.

I'm surprised they pulled the DVD, I'm going to see if I can find it. As much as I love Prime, I'm nervous purchases may be pulled due to licensing etc - I'm sure some of my previous content has gone

£5.99 on Amazon, so why not... Duel. One of my all time favourite films and still brilliant today.

Its still so gripping, the acting from Dennis Weaver is timelessly good. You can't put a score on something this good.
Duel does come around on the Horror channel, it will have the ad breaks though.

A Christmas Prince (Netflix)

My wife wanted to watch a "cheesy American Christmas film". This certainly fitted the bill. It was totally predictable, but quite sweet.

My wife enjoyed it.

4/10

All of that is overshadowed by the fact 'our Vernon' is the frankly terrifying Wez in Mad Max 2.

Tried Oldboy

Couldn’t get on with it and couldn’t see the point.
switched off halfway through. Falls well short of being entertainment in my opinion.

Which version, original Korean, or American remake? The original is excellent, not bothered seeing the remake.

Origional is an awesome film.

Must have been the remake. It missed the mark.

De Niro sunk to an all time low in this.

I found it tedious, overlong, and De Niro's performance was poor in my opinion, but I enjoyed Pacino, and Pesci was nuanced.
