I thought Mark rejecting Ning was done too harshly.

She praised him to the max and he was smiling away taking all the praise. He reacted well with giving a kiss and a cuddle. It all looked rather nice. Then he twisted the knife.

It's really dragging out. The episodes are even more drawn out now.
Tbf, if any of this is to believed, his voice over said it all..... she was nowhere for the entire series then 'got the feels' waay too late, and acted on them even later. Really felt for her though.... quite the damaged woman frown

still...at £600 for every instagram post she makes, I'm not THAT sad for her....

https://thetab.com/uk/2021/02/09/married-at-first-...

the whole series in now like a click-bait website..... next time on MAFS!!! oh so much drama!!!! the most in MAFS history!!
next time comes.....
well? where is it?
oh... it's next time...

Mark was never going to say yes to Ning, she spent 90% of the experiment giving him the cold shoulder and was horrible to him at the wedding, not the best start.

Again if any of this is not contrived, Ning deserved everything she got, sent out all the wrong signals, face like a slapped arse, left the poor bloke no alternative.

Not that I'm a relationship expert but imposing loads of baggage from previous relationships on her current partner knackered any chance of it working out.

We noticed that in the past few - we're now fast forwarding through some bits and are only still watching as we watched so much before!

Not at all. When she was speaking all his body language was saying st, she wants to continue and I'm bailing!

Yes, way too drawn out now. Key is to record and watch with fast forward. Tonights episode is 60 mins... I'll have it watched in an easy 10

I rolled eyes at how, in the absence of any jeopardy in the Cameron & Jules relationship, meaning they were both nailed on to stay with each other, they decided to create jeopardy in the form of will-he-propose-or-not.

Jess and Dan was awful....hope we get to see him kick her into touch.

As others have pointed out, Ning’s baggage was detrimental from the start.

Mark made a valid point during his speech that he didn’t want to drag Ning and her children to another city, knowing the relationship was doomed.

I’d say good on him for acknowledging that and not wanting to cause further pain.

Mark’s only error I think was timing, he should have bailed the week before, when Ning also wanted out. There would have been less emotion then, as both were pretty aligned in terms of their feelings.

is it wrong that I laughed at the carefully timed release of the ducks across the path after Ning stormed off.... rofl
it won't surprise me if Ning will use this as an excuse to prove that everyone leaves her & becomes worse than before rather than embracing it as proof that given time she could get through the other side but needs to shift herself along a bit quicker

Sam looks weird without a beard hehe

Looks like Jess is finally going to get called out on all her back stabbing, shame it had to wait until the end.

Cyrell giving Martha a few home truths too hehe

Bizarrely I'm starting to warm to Cyril. She makes me laugh. She'd be more fun on a night out than the rest of the girls, for sure.

I caught up with this earlier today at the reunion dinner party. I wondered sometime ago what happened to bad girl, Ines and it seemed she didn't get her man - but was tricked by him instead.
The relationship experts are loving the drama and look forward to show us all the skulduggery in the next episode, which presumably must be the last?
I see they're asking for applicants for the next UK series. Anyone here tempted to apply?

I want to apply to be one of the experts.

The UK show is completely different to the Australian one. Firstly the UK show the couples really get married. There's none of the dinner party drama. Just couples left to be couples.

Do they? Oh, in that case, presumably if they don't have sex then the marriage can be annulled as it hasn't been consumated?
It's not really the British way though is it?

I think all that makes them experts is being Australian without the upwards inflection at the end of every sentence?

Missus caught up with this at the weekend, skipped a lot of the filler but watched the cermonies and the dinner party

Think its the last one tonight and looks like some people get called out? Its such trash but you can see why it succeeds against the other versions hehe

Yup...

It's quite clever this bit - during the "experiment", they're very careful to give the experts plenty of plausible deniability.

Then, bring them back a couple of months later, with "fully briefed" experts and all the other people...

I had to watch this during it's first airing in 2018 as I was living in Perth, AU.

It's great television.
