Iirc the producer woman in her opening talk requested attendees kept stuff about the show off social media plus a strict policy of no video or photos, even to the extent of staff asking people to delete pics if they had taken them.

Me too . Surprised how little retakes were required . 2,5 to 3 hrs to film a whole show once they got started wasn’t bad at all really .

Bloody cold day though !

I was there yesterday as well and I was hoping there would be a marked difference between the filming of the first show (I saw that too) and the last, and there was. Even the guest star was quite funny, to my surprise. And we got a free Fredo Frog chocolate while waiting outside the studio, it doesn't get better than that.

Looking at the names on the lap times the guests' this series have been pretty poor. It very much smacks of 'who is contractually obliged to the BBC this week and won't offend anybody?' Sorry to spoil it for others but Jerry Sadowtiz doesn't appear on the board.

Once again though Rory was on the benches; he even managed to get sidelined in the pre-recorded film we watched. If I were him I'd be brushing up my CV now this series has finished.

A tip of the hat to the guy in the crazily patterned leggings; that was a brave move turning up dressed like that and I still can't work out whether it was intentional or otherwise.

All told though it was good - but cold - fun and this time I actually made it into a few shots, namely when they were talking to the star. If you spot a tall bloke with a shaved head in a grey puffa jacket, that's moi.

a 4th thumbs up from me too, was really entertaining (though my back is wrecked today!). I would imagine that air-bags can all be turned off given the race we saw?

I was surprised at the lack of interesting cars for the audience (there was a gorgeous gold Merc 500SEC parked up though). Saw a cracking number plate too (I'd imagine the owner was beeb related) B8 CEE

Yes, the quality of the guests has fallen a lot. Guess few agents want their big star to be associated with a fading show.

Interesting to see how short all three presenters are. They just don't have the alpha-male height dominance of Clarkson and they all looked nervous among the (mostly taller) crowd.

Think the bellend in Spiderman trousers just wanted to stand out on telly or do some kind of dare / bet with his mates.

Insightful to see Rory make a public "joke" off-camera about how he got his lines correct without autocue and deserved a pay rise. Suspect his low pay (compared to MLB) rankles a bit. They should give him the boot and replace him with the fat comedian guy on stage.

I was right behind the guest’s head, stood at the front of the crowd. Did you turn up in a LHD GT3 by any chance?

That might have been the orange one i saw arriving. We were parked near a Ferrari and a Bentley - that and odd Porsche made up the half dozen exotica in the car park. The gold Merc mentioned above did look great.
