Half hour slots on discovery Monday's, couple of eccentric car guys messing with old motors. They supercharged a Chevy monza with five leafblowers last night and got almost 140mph out of it. I enjoyed it, worth a watch if you like unpolished, uncultured car shows
Good news. I refuse to pay for MTOD so haven't seen them for a few years.

Finnigans YouTube channel is pretty good.
Same. Was my fave car show online until MTOD. Loved Dirt Everyday and Hot Rod Garage too.

Such a shame they put it all behind a pay wall! Used to watch it religiously on YouTube. Glad to see they are bringing it to TV

It’s only £5 a month, almost the cost of a pint of beer in some locations!

I know it’s different strokes for different folks and all that but MTOD subscription is the best money I spend each month.

Roadkill, Roadkill Garage, Hot Rod Garage, Engine Masters and every now and then Dirt Every Day (which can often be Roadkill in the mud), even Junkyard Gold is excellent and Drift This is a bit of silly fun too.

It’s not big money, especially if you catch it when it’s on offer and you get 6 or 7 decent shows a month. It’s a bit of a shame we don’t get all the stuff you can get in the States but I still think it’s worth it.
Yup, same here; have been a subscriber since it was available in the UK. My knowledge of 60s-80s American car culture has grown 10-fold since I started watching them, down to knowing what a 458 big block is, or a 17:1 rear end. Really enjoy Junk Yard Gold as well; that said I've not watched much of their newer shows other than the original content (RK, RKG, HRG and DED).

Glad they've put it on normal TV though, it'll get some more people interested in what they do.

By far the most entertaining programmes available about cars and car culture.

Indeed, if they hadn't have jumped ship their popularity could've soared.

It was nice to see Finnegan and Cleetus in a video together though thumbup

For me it's not the cost it's the principle. I'm pretty forgetful so I deliberately keep my direct debits to an absolute minimum as if I didn't I'd end up paying ad infinitum for stuff I don't use.

Think I've only got phone and gym plus household bills and that feels like enough.

Not really, maybe when they reach tens of millions of views and are making videos in their bedrooms, but not at the viewing figures and production costs of Roadkill et al.

How else would you have preferred they generate the revenue required to live off their videos and pay for all of the associated costs?

Don't forget Finn and Frei quit their daytime jobs of working for Hot Rod Magazine because of the time spent making videos, so they need to earn a decent salary as well as paying for the crew, car, production costs etc. The Dodge sponsorship only goes so far, and YouTube payments are pitiful for anyone not bringing in multi-million views per video.

Absolutely some of the best motoring programmes ever produced. I think I'll ask for a subscription for my birthday.

Loved the wheelie truck and the crossover with Australia's Mighty Mods.

As fun as Roadkill is, I particularly enjoy Hot Rod Garage - those guys produce some lovely motors without short-cutting anything.

Finally, MTOD is FREE! You only pay a subscription if you want to see the videos on the day of release and free of adverts. If you wait a month and watch the ads, you can still see the all of their content for no money at all.
No you can't. You might be able to in some countries. But not this one.

Used to be, however I checked the site and they don't do this anymore.

Who watches?
I’ve been an avid watcher since it began, I really enjoy it. I’m wondering how much PistonHeads love there is for it. I think it works so well because of Frei and Finn and how genuine they come across.

Same here. The show was good but not so good that I'd pay for it, especially as was becoming a bit formulaic. They could have saved loads of money simply by fitting a cooling system to the $10,000 crate engines they zip-tied to an old wreck before doing doughnuts until it exploded.
