I seem to spend many (probably too many) hours per week watching various car related youtube channels.

Currently enjoying Tavarish and his "I bought the cheapest" series.

Salomandrin because supercars.

The smoking tire as I love the variation in cars that Matt Farah test drives..

Drag times is a good watch if you like seeing a MacLaren 720S beat everything its put up against.

Also enjoy the Car Throttle channel too.

So what do you guys like and why, would be great to waste even more of my life watching car stuff on YouTube!

V8TV the collection the "brothers" have is nothing short of awesome. Classic american muscle at it's absolute finest (and rarest). Better still ,they're not afraid to leave a bit of rubber on the ground when featuring the cars.

Muscle car of the week is worth a look, the guy really knows his onions when it comes to Muscle cars.

Harry's Garage, Car Throttle, JayEmm on Cars and Pistonheads mainly.

There is a lot of posing and dross on YouTube, I found the above are good at avoiding all that and genuinely informative.

Harrys Garage as its about the only thing actually worth watching imo. I could listen the man read the phone book.

The smoking tyre, hoovies garage (great for a guy who buys borky hunks or junk), Tavarish is awesome too, rebuilding a fire damaged gallardo in his garage!

From the Americas... Roadkill, Dirt Every Day, and Hot Rod Garage... well, until recently when they withdrew from YouTube.

I tried Mighty Car Mods. I like the guys but the episodes don't grab me.

Ronny Dahl for off road stuff, and Andrew St Pierre White (4xoverland). And because I love what these guys make, Patriot Campers - they even have a DVD collection.

Petrolicious and Jalopnik if the subject interests me.

MCM's latest series on their 240z build is the best one they've done IMO and is worth a watch.

AutoVlog - mainly focuses on his C63 and F150 trucks but does some (US) reviews also
B is for Build - interesting projects however his corner-cutting annoys me sometimes
Cleetus McFarland - US garage immitating Roadkill; some interesting projects if you're into US muscle
Doug DeMuro - love his "THIS is a..." series although his 100-mile-an-hour speech wares
Finnegan's Garage - Mike Finnegan's (from Roadkill) personal channel
Hagerty - US auction house channel, but their "Barn Finder" series is excellent
Harry's Garage - simply the best
Hoovie's Garage - same vain as Doug DeMuro's (Tyler works for Doug) and Tavarish; buys 90s and early 2000s cars and trys to keep them running
Jamie FYD - shouldn't like him but I do
Junkyard Digs - another Roadkill imitator but very good. Like RK when they first started out.
Lucky's Garage - Lucky Costa from MotorTrend/Roadkill/Hot Rod Garage - short vids but great projects.
MCM and MCMTV2 - one of the best; Marty and Moog are fantastic presenters and always have great projects on the go
Noriyaro - Australian guy living in Japan doing vids on Japan car culture
Reidus and Cleetus Show - same as Junk Yard Digs and Cleetus McFarland
Retrorestore - UK guy doing refurb work - great projects
Samcrac - some interesting projects/builds (infamous for the pizza-car issue); his bread and butter was reviewing cars sold through co-part and looking up their history - strangely interesting stuff
Sarah -n- Tuned - something very watchable about her.
Savage Geese - excellent car reviews
Smith and Sniff - Richard Porter and Jonny Smith chatting
SOUP - awesome projects and great can-do attitude
Tavarish - as mentioned, pretty good projects
The Savage Garage - single guy doing small car projects
The Smoking Tyre - viewer's car reviews and podcasts
White Details - Jim White's detailing vlogs/shows

Harrys Garage
SOUP Classic Motoring

These are the only 3 I watch religiously and mainly because I can relate to them so much. True petrol heads! I will check out some of the others mentioned in this thread though as I tend to skip past most stuff on youtube without giving it a chance.

Harry's Garage - in my opinion is the best YouTube channel. For starters his collection is brilliant, he has something to cater for everyone whether you're into Italian V12's, hot hatches, old Landies and so on. Secondly he's genuinely passionate about cars and he's not afraid to use them - for anyone who hasn't seen his trip to the Sahara in his Testarossa then it's worth a watch. Also his recent trip to the Arctic Circle in a £4k eBay Silver Shadow was brilliant. Always enjoy his videos, plus they're usually set in the Cotswolds - what's not to like?! The main thing I enjoy about his videos though are that he's not trying to portray a particular lifestyle, he doesn't film his feet while walking to buy a Starbucks coffee while wearing designer sunglasses, edited to some weird rap-bop music. He is focussed on the car and not himself, very refreshing - you would never see him upload a video with the title "10 things I HATE about my LAMBOGHINI COUNTACH".

Seconding this - it should be way more popular. He has 26 well-produced episodes up now of great stop-motion restoration, interesting interviews and other stuff. One of the very few motoring things (Bad Obsession Motorsport is the other) I donate to on patreon.

6two1/Adam Ivell - Been watching for since the Honda Dairies of old, way back when. Quite a good laugh!

DannyDC2 - From Nurburgring videos to (currently) Volvos. Down to earth and a lot of relatable car moments!

JamieFYD - Still good for a laugh.

JayEmm on Cars - Probably the ONLY fully factual car review channel, still with good humour..... very much Fifth Gear of old!

SubieTroops - Bunch of guys with Scoobies in the 'States. Good one to watch for the modding side, even though I hate the arch flaring on one of the cars.

AdamC - He's great, met him a few times at local shows, including PH SS's. Known for his "cars leaving shows" videos.

VTSV - Seems decent enough, normally shoots the same events with AdamC above.

..... That's all I can think of at the moment. I don't really bother with the "supercar" channels, they don't interest me in the slightest.
