I'm sure it will be very well made, but somehow I doubt it will feature the involvement of the British side of the development of the car, just not box office enough for Ford to have to come over to the UK and get 'men in sheds' to sort out the cars for them after LOLA got them started.
Well, Bale is doing a Brummie accent!Corso Marche said:
I've noticed there's another title for this movie on some versions of the official trailer.
Le Mans '66
Pretty common to have different names in different markets for the same movie. What's the bets the US sticks with Ford vs Ferrari while Europe gets Le Mans '66 ?

Really looking forward to this - even though some of the recognised story will probably be embellished and other parts reduced. It's a film, after all.
Motor Sport magazine have joined in the celebration too this month with a superb main article on Ken Miles and the GT40 story.- well worth looking out for.

I'm reliably informed this is (quietly) screening nationwide at Odeon on Monday night, tickets are generally £5 and you can book online if you look for Screen Unseen at your local Odeon.
Be warned, the 7pm start time is strict with these screenings, no adverts, just a couple of trailers then straight in to the film.

excellente. After checking my local odeon web page (odeon has one of the sttest websites I've had to endure for a long time), I see my local one has it
truth be told old chap, I think they're all ste. Cineworld wants you to log in, order your tickets and the time you want before it'll show you what seats are available! Full cinema with 2 seats on the opposite side the the auditorium? Well that's ok - start again..... FredericRobinson said:
The Odeon twitter account has 3 clues for the screen unscreen showing this week
Talented Tom alternative
Lean Machine
Re-directing the money
Make of that what you will, could be to do with Tom Cruise originally having been lined up for the film

I can see the screen unseen listing for my local Odean, am I taking pot luck booking or do they reveal at some point which film it will be? (My local Odean isn't very local)
Nope, it's literally as the BBFC card appears at the start of the film. Always good fun as they rarely put a foot wrong with the quality of the film.ukaskew said:
