I lived for quite a while in North Yorkshire and listened to Planet Rock on my Denon DAB radio. I've moved to North Scotland and it's not there.
The DAB radio web site says I should be able to get it but no signal.
Any ideas?
Thanks

it's not a help but I had similar problems with absolute 70s when I was up in the Lake District and Harrogate area the other month. Not noticed any problems with PR (or indeed absolute classic rock) over the same period

I have awful DAB reception at home, so use an internet radio. Planet Rock hardly ever works, even though I have c.70 meg connection. I'm guessing it may be my antique Logic internet radio, although other channels are OK...

Was down in Devon at the weekend and found the PR would drop frequently (as well as all the other channels in the same cluster). BBC channels however, solid as a rock the whole time.

The radio worked fine in N Yorks, but two days later in WC Scotland it won't pick up PR or Abs Rock either.
I have used the internet radio on my lap top to good effect, as well as the TV (Firestick).
I have a partially working Nexus, going to try and set that up as a permanent radio link to the Denon.....

Can you get any of the following stations. These are the other stations that are transmitted on the same ensemble as Planit Rock. Some are in Dab+ so you may not get them if you stereo isn't DAB+ compatible. Planet Rock is transmitted in the original DAB.

The ensemble that PR is on is SDL (National 2). It has poor reception areas (especially East Anglia and South coast as the frequency in use clashes with ones used on the coast in France etc) compared to the other 2 national ones (BBC and D1 National)

How about a Google Chromecast audio: https://store.google.com/gb/product/chromecast_aud...
or a decent Bluetooth speaker & use your phone with Tunin Radio https://tunein.com/

Yep, we lost Planet Rock up here last year when Bauer Media moved their stations around. As I recall it starts working around Stirling when we drive south. Absolute Rock is the nearest equivalent.

I'm a fan of rock, but I find PR unbearable frown

Same here in 2016 in Mid Devon.

However, Sound Digital Limited and Arqiva are supposed to be adding 19 extra transmitters in Devon, Cornwall, South Wales, North East Scotland, East Anglia and Kent. So we might get Planet Rock and various other channels back soon.

as we were all supposed to be going to DAB as the future of radio I think its ste that parts of the country are without a reliable signal, but we cant even get a good mobile phone signal in my part of the southeast. Why are we so backward in these things ?

Have you "retuned" your radio?

My parents couldn't pickup most of the channels that should have been available, until I kicked off a retune of their radio. After that all the missing stations were suddenly there!

On their BOSE system, it was a special key combination on the remote to access the command...
