Anyone looking forward to this. Just watched beyond the trailers dissection of the trailer, and it looks really entertaining. Loved Unbreakable, never seen Split.
JUst looks really interesting.
The link above has no info on plot, just a précis

I saw the trailer this morning and it looks good. A lot of people won't make the connection with unbreakable since it came out 18 years ago so might not get it at first though.
I would definitely recommend Split as well.
I'd agree, Split is an excellent watch and would make sense to see it before watching Glass.I would definitely recommend Split as well.

I'm no fan of M Night Shallaman, Loved unbreakable and 6th sense but thought the rest I've seen of his were ste.
I haven't seen Split so will avoid this trailer, but will watch it once I've caught up.
well, he went so many times to that well it ran dry.I haven't seen Split so will avoid this trailer, but will watch it once I've caught up.
Having said that, I'm halfway through a recent film of his,and it's rather good

You might even want to watch The Visit which is the actual name of the film. Personally I didn't think too much of it.
As for Split it might be helpful to fill a gap or two. Glass might work without seeing it first but I wouldn't guarantee it.
Well I've been trying to get around to watching Split for ages so this should put some pressure on.As for Split it might be helpful to fill a gap or two. Glass might work without seeing it first but I wouldn't guarantee it.

I just watched 'split' after seeing unbreakable yrs ago but i dont see the link between the two movies apart from The very brief 'cameo' by Bruce in the final few seconds.
It wouldnt suprise me if i am missing something here, but can someone explain how 'split' can be classed as a sequel of 'unbreakable'?

They are set in the same world. Bruce Willis' character is the same guy from Unbreakable. It wouldnt suprise me if i am missing something here, but can someone explain how 'split' can be classed as a sequel of 'unbreakable'?
If you watch Glass all will be explained.

I understand he was the same character, but his character only appeared in the movie to tell us there was a link between the two movies. There was no other mention anywhere that i noticed that suggested he was anything to do with this one.If you watch Glass all will be explained.
As far as both movies being set in the same world..they were both set in the normal world. Its not like it was set in some alternative reality or the future, or another planet!
Anyway, I will watch Glass and then see if i can see why 'Split' was an important part of the series!
