Funnily enough, the worst kept secret over the last few months has now been officially revealed (if we didn't all know already hehe ) by both of them via Joe's Instagram on Sunday.
Which is what please?
That they're an item (for now). https://www.bbc.co.uk/newsround/46589945

Says so on the Newsround web page wink

I would have preferred Faye to win, but am not overly disappointed at Stacey getting the gong. However I think there was a sympathy vote for Kevin which they talked up more and more as the final got closer which played an intangible part. Then I was appalled that when the winner was announced it was Kevin that took most of the lime light away from Stacey. The cameras panned straight to him, he was the first of the two to be hoisted up on the shoulders and Stacey even congratulated him before she started to celebrate "her" win. It was just the wrong way around. It was Stacey and Kevin, not Kevin and Stacey.

Ashley was technically the best dancer all season, but very closely followed by Faye who for a non-dancer was really quite good. I felt that Joe flat lined and whilst deserved to be in the final, he wasn't worthy of the win. I also thought that Charles and Lauren went out in the wrong order.

My feel good dance of the season was Kevin and Stacey's minion jive. My best "technical" dance of the season went to Faye and Gio's musical number, it was just so in sync and spot on.

A great show, roll on September 2019!

It did seem to be all about Kevin at the end. You could barely see Stacey, but Kevin was up on people's shoulders. I have gone right off him this series.

Stacey's mum was fantastic when they announced Stacey as the winner - she rushed the stage very excitedly, appeared to scare the crap out of Tess when she appeared behind her to congratulate her daughter and then had to be gently encouraged to move off screen and stand next to Neil hehe The next time they cut to her she was back at her seat, with Stacey's sister & boyfriend, with a look on her face like "oh god, did i really just do that?" hehe

I see that Chris Evans and Alan Carr have confirmed they have agreed to do the 2019 series.

Chris Evans!, I’m a Chris Evans fan but I believe his ego is bigger than the strictly show so a lack of humility or ability will see him out quickly! Alan Carr on the other hand would be great fun but I’d be surprised if he’s much of a dancer. Be good to be proved wrong tho.

On the Stacey front I don’t think she seemed that bothered, very pleased but not much more than that, hence Kevin picking up the attention.

Part of the fun is the build up and finding out who's going to be on, even if most of us don't know who most of them are when announced hehe

Since the BBC makes such a big thing about the secrecy and unveiling maybe we'll be lucky and they'll be binned for announcing it?

I’ve always said the BBC are missing a trick here; always thought they’d be on to a winner if they did a celebrity version...

I can understand Chris Evan signing up. After 10 months on a radio station that no-one will listen to, he'll need a bit of fresh publicity...

I only knew 3 of the so-called 15(?) Celebs, so I can certainly relate to rog007's comment.

Having suffered this garbage 7 days a bloody week for what seems like the last 6 months I was hoping for some respite before the next series.
