Replacement rear lights for Monaro

Hey, so I finally picked up my Monaro at the weekend, CV8 big boot. Lovely car and really enjoying it!

There are a few things that need tidying up, one of which is replacing the drivers side rear light cluster that has a big crack through it.

I've read around this forum and am I right in thinking that any Monaro rear light cluster will fit my car? I know the V2 and VZ headlights are subtly different.

I might go after market although I'll probably try and source an original too in case I want to revert back to the classic look.

All rear Monaro light clusters are interchangeable. They are held on by two screws and two securing pins. Be very careful you don't snap the pins off when you remove the lights. With the screws removed slowly pull the light out side ways.

Yes, and I quite like the look of the VXR lights. If I don't stick with the original style I'll pick up a pair of rears.

Best to stick to factory as getting one of something in aftermarket in case of damage will be a struggle

How much are drivers side standard 2005 VXr going for with no faults to lens, PM if you prefere

Black CV8, totally standard, that was advertised in the classifieds on here and later the Bay. Very similar to yours but no VXR brakes.

Yep, that's the one. Mechanically sound, as far as I can tell anyway, and in good nick bar a few minor things.
