I remember reading some time ago that Sky were launching a no dish option, late 2018 ? with the signal being provided over the broadband service.

Does anyone know the criteria for this ? assume you would need a decent line speed for downloads, HD and 4k streams.

Netflix recommend 25Mb for 4K. Presumably Sky will be similar.

I've worked with Sky IP based business services, designed for hotels etc, will be similar to the domestic offering I was told.

The boxes have a Freeview tuner built in for all the FTA channels, so an aerial is needed. Sky and other subscription channels will be streamed. Same as a BT TV box really.

As a guide, BT will only supply their UHD box on their 76Mbps service.
