I have absolutely no idea what was in the episode. Was I blind drunk throughout? Maybe not.

Yes it did. Something happened, they had a bit of an adventure, everyone’s characters developed just a little bit, they went home.

Great episodic TV doesn’t need a major revelation or plot twist to be, well, great.

Someone, who hasn’t seen a single other episode could watch it and find it enjoyable.

I’m rewatching a lot of Star Trek TNG episodes at the moment. It’s great because you can just pick one you fancy watching without having to remember 5000 story elements to get something out of it. You can do that with much of the Mandalorian, not with Andor, although I don’t think many people will be rewatching that…

It would interesting to see just how many episodes involve fighting big beasts! It's getting a tad boring now.

I'm massively looking forward to rewatching Andor again. I'll let it marinate for a while yet.

The storytelling with this found its legs in series 2. Now they've wandered off again.

It is a bit of a shame though that most TV is a massive arc these days.

Just look forward to season 2 of Andor then.

I hear there’s a big focus on how the imperial navy handled logistic planning.

There’s a four episode arc about a courier tender process for small packages.

No fighting monsters at all.

I think you may have to switch the TV on.

Latest episode was a bit meh. Getting fed up with the rather poor animatronic that is Grogu now. In this day and age I expect better to be honest. Not much of a step up from a furby.

A bit more on the background of the Mandalorian culture coming through in this episode which was good to see. The flashbacks from Grogu were really well done, and nice to see a bit more of of order 66. It fit really well with the clone wars episodes.

The giant birds were a bit odd at the end, but again ties in what the tenants of the mandalorian is.

Going back and seeing the entirely CGI Clone Troopers in the prequel trilogy is even more jarring now they've been done so much better in Mando.

Somebody mentioned the Grogu puppet, I love it, gives him/it real character.

Look after any foundlings until they are an adult or returned to their kind.

Yeah, the puppet thing is kind of a Star Wars staple.

The issue I have is that they are basically including Grogu now because the character was a smash hit with the public so they want him on screen as much as possible, when the original plot was clearly that he would be handed off to Luke at the end of S2.

Doesn't help that they pulled him back into the Mandalorian during the Book of Boba Fett either. If they wanted to bring him back into the plot of the show, they should have done it as a story within the actual show itself.

Enjoyed this week's episode, they packed a lot in in 36ish minutes.

I don't know what those complaining about are expecting in terms of the episode content, this week we got:

1. We found out who reduced Grogu during order 66 (apparently a character introduced in some gameshow in the US?) Anyway, nice scene of some lightsabers and Clone troopers
2. Grogu gets his first piece of Mandalorian armour and shows that he can look after himself even more. In the last 3 episodes he's saved Mando, and almost started speaking (it's coming you can tell, my bet is he says "this is the way" by the last ep)
3. Bo takes more steps along her journey to uniting the Mandalorians and leading them again. This episode showed her gaining the respect of the other Mandalorians and adhering to the creed
4. Giant flying things, which you know the Mandalorians will be flying at some point right?

Both the Carl Weathers episodes have been strong this season.
