Star Wars - The Mandalorian
Discussion
Another good episode, I quite like the splitting of styles of action with underlying politics of the new republic being a bureaucratic mess. Which to be honest feels quite realistic as it's got a huge problem of transitioning from an oppressive empire model to a democracy. I also like that it raise the question what to do with the huge number of empire soldiers/officers/staff who were just following orders. The battle scene with the corsair was well done, there'd be limited air support and without it a big ship like that is going to be vulnerable to fighter / bombers. The corsair looked really good (well done CGI). It's pretty lucky the town didn't have any surface to air defences though!
It was cool seeing Zeb in live action
The show will never please everyone, and there are bits that are a bit lame. The overall episode structures are very formulaic with a bigger picture underneath.

Is anyone else beginning to get a bad feeling about the Armorer? Feels like she's intentionally setting up to pit Bo against Mando. The beskar fragments in MG's prison transport can't be a good sign either...
No shenanigans with her at all. Curious where they go with the beskar. I wonder if Bobby Fett had anything to do with it?Kes Arevo said:

And the evidence on the wall of the abandoned transport ship is really iffy - history has shown others can get hold of it so it will just be a flimsy framing plot.
Still enjoying it but this season DOES feel like they're jumping all over the place a bit, rather than a saga being told and gradually unfolding.

I still haven't seen Clone Wars or Rebels yet, but the big purple guy was a character from Rebels https://www.looper.com/1243092/the-mandalorian-cha...
