I don't think guessing at who it could be is spoiler territory, it's fans talking. As has always been the case.
I like the theory on who rescued Mando.
On reflection, it may be off, I haven't sat down and worked out BBY etc. Although I do suspect he may have been too young to do so.

Well it does take 1,000 years to get digested, so a guy with lasers and a jetpack and a lil willpower could fight his way out. I think it's been done before.

In a lot of non-canon novels he is said to have survived, could be they are taking some leads from these to retcon his "death".

Again, a better episode but still very Disney and tv.

I just wish they would make him darker, instead of doing all the "he's a great Dad" stuff.

I guess this is why I struggle with lots of tv series, they have to do this to develop and make it a long running thing, they just string stuff out so much.

On the flip side, lots of good nods to Star Wars lore and it does look very pretty.

Just needs to get going now. Feels like they are treading water a bit, which I guess is what lots of tv series do.

You can be a TV series and have relentless momentum. This certainly doesn't have it.

the webby is telling me that This series somehow has a link/reference to the new move, hence the reason for Disney to get it out there now and time it in correctly! hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I’m still enjoying it. Yes it’s Disney but like the other star wars Disney films, particularly the solo film, I just look at it as a story set in the Star Wars universe and don’t take it too seriously.

It’s definitely more stargate than Aliens but it looks great and still has the Star Wars vibe.

Well, I’m a fan. As you can guess from the user name that I’ve used the entire time.

I’ve also read the books as a kid, and am seeing a lot of those elements as well.

If I had a wish list it would be a nod to clones who defected from the empire.

I agree. It didn't flow well and the Twi'lek (who incidentally was played by the actress who was Tonks in the Potter movies) just grated on me completely. Far too much hissing and posing from her. Really really annoying.
Mark Boone jr plays Bobby Munsen in everything unfortunately and I was half expecting him to roar off into the Universe on a space Harley.

It was an 'ok' episode but it seemed lacking in something.

Enjoyed 6, amusing to see "Moss" the droid.

Still with just 2 left hoping it isnt wrapped up too quickly and the last ones are a larger split episode.

Ach, sorry to be contrary, but I really enjoyed that episode. Watched it with 10yr old daughter and it got the full on, wide eyed 'that was awesome!' at the end of it.

Loved the Terminator music, Weeping Angels and VW Vader moment. Geeked out at the X wings opening up.

Not exactly War and Peace, but a lot better than the Magnificent 2.

Think I enjoyed this one the most so far.

I'd rather something standalone that gets the job done than something that sticks to the central thread but doesn't plough on in a muscular enough manner which is how some of the rest feels.

loved seeing new republic structure taking shape (logos, droids, ship interior, etc) and the x wings at the end looked so quick and agile compared to everything else.

twilek was fking awful though..

EP VI, felt a lot like "star trek", few call backs as fan service, no real over arching story line, a lot of "Marvel" in its tone, and hammy OTT characters. I fking loved it.

Seriously, see if you're moaning about the Mandalorian, go and fk off and watch something else and leave us comic book Star Wars fans in peace.

Without the mainstream viewer coming along, it would commercially non-viable to make anything, and you would still be reading your comic.

So "go fk off and" chill out smile
