Just watched the Ducati programme, I really enjoyed it. I wasn't even that bothered about Henry Cole's voiceovers!

Edited because I can't tell one Cole from another, apparently!

Henry ...

Ghastly boring tripe made worse by the poor attempts at humour and being everybody he meets best mate immediately ....
If this pathetic nerd was filming how to turn turds into gold bars I’d still switch off almost immediately .

A recent comparison ( Andy ..) was made between his show and Strictly , “ better than Strictly “.... sorry , much as I detest ballroom dancing and the show ... I’d watch it on repeat ad infinitum with my eyelids sewn open rather than watch 5 mins of Henry Cole .

It’s a No from me ....

Dire . Etc ....

Glad I'm not the only one who hates Henry Cole and his stupid voice.

However for those that watched the Norton one my workplace was featured with Brian Crighton.

The Norton one was interesting but sadly missed the Ducati and Triumph ones. Any body know if they are going to be shown on the web on ITV player or whatever it's called?

All three (Triumph, Norton and Ducati) are all on the ITV Hub. I watched the Triumph one and enjoyed it but agree about Henry Cole

Triumph and half the ducati one so far. Really good how they looked at the past rather than making it some sort of brochure for current models.
Gave the norton one a swerve so far as im sick of hearing about the embarrasing wankel era.
Cole has an act he has perfected like tipping a cup of tea back while chatting to some old geezer about his bike but a the end of
the day there is nothing more infuriating than a some recent olympic medal winner hosting something like this.

Loved the Norton one.

Why the hate for Cole? At least we are getting a bike show.

Liked the Ducati information, but I doubt BB rabble are the typical target audience for old Etonian Cole. Incidentally his buddy Guy Wilson serviced my central heating boiler 2 or 3 years ago. He told me all about the Gladstone Bobber they were producing, but at around £25k it didn't float my boat.

The Norton one was OK actually, they did obviously mention the wankel bikes but it was only a small section.

I thought the rotary section was OK, a good interview with Brian, good overall.

Cant stand cole, and "the motorbike show" as a whole is a massive let down for bikers unless you like classics and resto stuff. needs to be less that and more top/fifth gear for bikes imo

give the show bike world the budget instead, much better and relevant.

Truth is we need more bike shows on TV.

I dont mind Cole but then i pay more attention to the bikes rather than his comments. I'll be great to have Foggy do a 'Top Gear' of bikes .

That said he seems pretty tied up with CCM these days

exactly,i find him entertaining,if it wasn't for him there would be just about no decent motorcycling programmes on tv.

I have more sympathy for Cole after watching some of his worlds greatest bike ride series.
Mostly thunderously boring endless rides (USA comes to mind) to various dreary places but at least he seems to put the miles in.

Just watching this on repeat....I’m not a biker and I know its Giacomo.....what an absolute muppet Henry Cole is! That’s like Martin Brundle saying Leon Hamilton...unforgivable.
