I think as they have spent nearly 10 mins on this compared to the others with loads of ste singing, its a foregone conclusion who will win!

Harry err, obviously, err, err, yeah, obviously, errrrrrr, err, obviously Kane. fking hell lad try and string a sentence together.

Everyone gets a couple of mins, the footballist gets a 10 min montage with a song in the middle.

Funny people on Twitter out of shape because Fury and Ronnie not nominated. Well snooker ain't a sport and what has fury done? Got fat, got thin, came back, lost a fight.

Anyway, Jimmy Anderson is a good shout. Love G too.

Not watching it for this reason - just waiting online to cast my vote for G, in fact, anybody but a footballer.

As a biker, having won another World title I was hoping Jonathan Rea would be on the list again. Sadly not.

I think it was last years conserted effort by the motorcycling press to get bike fans to vote for Jonathan that caused the change in voting this year.

G gets my vote this year.

Lewis's speech was a bit contrived. Again thanking the audience. He didn't come across as well as normal, but he much think he is in with a chance or else he'd in America. Billy monger spoke better IMHO. The boy done good, hope he gets a good ride next year.. Can't help thinking he is (now) made for Formula E - no gearboxes!
They have gearboxes.

I know he was top scorer at the World Cup but neither of his teams have actually won anything whilst he's been playing for them - not just in the last year but like ever and he's played for Spurs for 9-10 years and England for ~4 years. It would be a bit weird if he won it.

In terms of participation football must be one of the most competitive of all sports. Therefore getting to a semi final, given our previous abject performances, with a young side is a big achievement.

Southgate was clearly up there due to the way he galvanised the squad and conducted himself.

England played rubbish sides in world cup and lost to any teams that were half decent but will get praised, then a homophobic idiot will get praised cos he is decent at being punched in the head and punching others.

Just need the beeb to find some of their old 80's guys to give awards to for services to kids to make it perfect.
