Am I missing something? Is there no 4k version on Prime?

It's not in the 4k section and the episode click is not playing in 4K/UHD?

Thought it was an excellent first episode. Patrick Stewart is a fantastic actor and gives it that much needed gravitas that is missing from Discovery.

Really can't wait to watch more of this. Solid 9/10 from me.

Superficially it was watchable, but the plot was wafer thin thoughout.

Beaming goons down to shoot perfectly either side of her feet and put a bag over her head made me laugh. Just beam her into a cell.
She's got cloaking tech, as such I'd suspect they couldn't get a lock on her. Beam a bomb next to her is easier!
Lol she had an actual cloak, not cloaking tech. where'd you get the cloaking tech from?

She's a positronic brain in a human body, well a human with data strength and speed aka mary sue.

I quite liked it, looking forward to more.

Bruce Maddox, blimey, that's a very specific callback, but a welcomely apt one.

I loved every second of it. Superb cinematography with no lens flares, no stupid camera angles and excellent special effects, and a central character you can actually like. So much better than The Michael Burnham Show ST Discovery. An intriguing story line as well.

From the trailer at the end it looks like it will get even better. Really looking forward to the next episode.
My thoughts exactly 👍👍

Yeah - enjoyed that - Picard is sounding and looking old but its nice they dont shy away from that .....
shame we have to wait for 1 a week - how dare they revert back to the 90's ;-)

Bloody brilliant. Being more of a TNG fan I loved it. Roll on the next episode.

Patrick is 79 but he's playing Picard as a 94 year old.

No doubt others will complain that it doesn't follow on and that someone who was lefthand four seasons ago is now right handed. :-)
Although in fairness, it does feel odd that Data has put on about four stone laugh
Was expecting this to be really obvious based on the previous comments but it didn't distract me too much, his face is just a bit rounder. He's an old man after all.
Luckily it has been established in cannon that Data can age.

I enjoyed it, I tried not to set my expectations too high but feels like it could be a good story, and really shows how tormented Picard was after Data’s death. It really does feel like TNG 20 years from where we left of.

The twin thing, I’ll reserve judgement for, feels a bit convenient

Ended too quickly though, thought on Prime it would be an hour, I guess because it’s originally on CBS they have ads? I will absolutely keep watching though!

Lab created children always come in twin packs. Two for the price of one special deals.
