No wonder PH posters are complaining, load of rubbish, entertainment show not a car show.

Record it from now on so that I can FF the boring bits, just in case there is a really interesting bit, when they are good they are very good but when bad oh dear

Why run an old engine low in oil? Surely you check oil and water every day. Oh wait until engine knocks then check oil level pathetic.

Time to stop giving money to BBC and use Netflix etc.

I’d prefer an episode like this to be half way through the series, not the first episode.

Nice to see Cleetus, a proper enthusiast, get some airtime. I love these guys, just friends having fun. The content wasn’t great but as I always say, top gear is like watching a football team. Sometimes you win six nil, sometimes it’s a bit of a flat goalless draw. The thing is, it’s not over till it’s over.

Me too.

I was expecting it to be rubbish and childish, but I actually enjoyed it.

Enjoyed it, good episode. Not one of the greats, but entertaining enough.

I think the critical things was it didn’t feel too engineered or that they were trying too hard.

I agree with this although I still enjoyed it. Would’ve liked to see them doing other stuff rather than a road trip to start. That’s my only criticism.

Enjoyed that seemed a lot of fun.

Flintoff nearly losing someone else’s P&J into the wall …. That clearly wasn’t something you could setup.

Not bad, better than a lot of previous episodes, that donk racing was crazy.
I hope the audience weren't expecting to see anything other than 'run vt' biggrin

Entertaining nonsense as ever thumbup Loved the Donks and the Dirty30. Getting the RV stuck trying a 3 point turn in wet sand seemed a bit obvious though!

I wonder if the UK created a Donk car racing series. It has to be UK cars what they would be like?

Would it be Rover SD1’s with 1,000 BHP or a lotus sunbeam talbot on 26” wheels with so much torque it would lift the front wheels & show chassis bending on Wot

pH massive - what would your Donk UK cars be?

FFWD through to avoid the Paddy, not happening so watched a couple of minutes of each section. I’ve zero interest in the banter but the dirty thirty looked fun.

Got to be early 80s Ford Granada, Ford Cortina. With a v8 transplant.
