Did it look like the viper held back to let the rivian win to anyone else?
No, I thought the Rivian won it in the first 10m by getting its power down instantly at both ends while the Viper was spinning up its rears. That truck is mighty impressive. It goes across country like a rally car & beats Vipers over a standing quarter, it has an interior like anTesla and it will still haul your big trailer.

Yeah, towards the end though the viper looked like it was gaining really quickly and then kind of held back. That truck is mighty impressive. It goes across country like a rally car & beats Vipers over a standing quarter, it has an interior like anTesla and it will still haul your big trailer.
Kind of fits in with electric cars, fast up to a point.
I could be wrong though

When was this filmed? They're all standing around in thick coats and woolly hats.
Must have been months ago. Assume they did the whole batch of links all in one evening. Best episode of the series so far, but it's a low bar.

I thought the same, gained quickly and then when it got half a car length behind seemed to just match the speed of the rivianKind of fits in with electric cars, fast up to a point.

Enjoyed tonight's episode, not one I'd bother watching again but was fun hour's entertainment
