Binged this over the weekend, great mix of different stories.
Def manages the 18 cert on some of the episodes.

the lost spaceship one with that blonde looked real. my favorite was the cat one for humor.

The Secret War, wow, what a way to finish. Just superb.

And it's nowhere as near as good as S1. There's perhaps 2 episodes that are interesting but the rest completely lack the character / storytelling of S1. They have completely lost their way imho.

Completely agree.

There was nothing on par with "Zima Blue", "Aquila Rift", or "Good Hunting".

"Ice" felt like it had something more to say, as did "Pop Sqaud" and "Drowned Giant", but they never followed through.

Agree with this view.
Watched them back to back, hoping that the next one would carry that spark from the first season.
I don't think i will be watching them again, unlike the episodes from the first season.

However, in terms of a portfolio exercise for what rendered CGI can do today?! Impressive visuals and very difficult to tell the difference between real action and CGI.

I was hoping for more in the vein of 3 robots or Sonni's edge, but was sadly disappointed with all of season 2.

Not heard of these before.
Watched 3 robots and Zima Blue last night to see what they were like. Will be watching more, thanks for recommending.

I would watch most of S1 again quite happily. I don't think I would watch any of S2 again - very disappointing. It's a shame on Netflix you either like a show or don't - you can't say you liked one season and not another. Altered Carbon had the same trajectory - awesome season 1, god-awful season 2.

For me, I think season 2's main issues are:

- Much shorter run compared to season 1's bumper selection
- Lack of instant classics, or shorts that compel to be rewatched for a different perspective

Season 1 wasn't perfect, but it did spawn several hits that pretty much defined what Love, Death and Robots was all about.

Whilst not as good as season 1, I enjoyed it. All through the house was a particular highlight for me hehe

Pop Squad was good too.

Same for me, Pop Squad and All Through The House were the highlights, Snow In The Desert was good, and I liked Automated Customer Service, even if the 'home technology gone wrong' story has been done many times before. Season 3 is next year and I'm looking forward to it, hopefully there will be more than 8 stories.
