Did the massive house at the end belong to the man who bough the R107 SL? Or was it a place open to the public? He was saying about not being able to afford a Pagoda but was driving round the grounds of that place.
Owning a massive house doesn't mean you can also afford expensive cars. He could have been an old-money type with most of his disposable income tied up in running that massive pile.

I assumed it was either apartments, or he was just swanning about on somebody else's drive.

I can't recall for the last few series at least Derek & Paul on camera together?.
They were working together trying the free the clutch on the Cresta this week, unless it’s ‘together’ via the magic of TV.

Was Dave in this latest episode? Paul certainly was.

Love the Merc interiors from that period. Especially with the patterned cloth seats.

Yes, talking about the Mini. But the episodes are filmed over many months as the sons beards come and go during the same episode.

Yes, that Alvis was lovely. The seller was obnoxious; I wonder if Derek would have been so polite if the cameras hadn’t been there smile
Noticed the seller removing the hare mascot and no sign or mention of it afterwards. Suspect he kept it as a souvenir; I cannot imagine that would have pleased Derek.

Guy selling the Merc and the Alvis was a bit of a sarcy git. "Did yer stop fer a sleep?" Noticed Derek kept very quiet when he asked for 27k. Knew it would fetch more so went "No comment"
I'm sure Derek said 20-25 and the guy said 27...., although Derek changed that to 30-40 latet in the show?

I think they both were, imagine the whole situation is bit embarrassing for them. Their old man having a poke and a prod at a woman younger than them.

Didn't see their wives in any of the latest episodes, think Paul is married to the frizzy haired lady that's in the office. Dave is married to the brunette milf you see doing the phones on some of the auctions.

Liked the little red sporty number that Derek was driving at the end.
Not sure about Biggles jacket though.

He did. I didn’t find the owner rude, just a bit garrulous.

Perhaps it was just removed so as not to be stolen while on display in the showroom?

They often remove the more nickable stuff during viewing. And stuff does get swiped, unfortunately.

I thought someone said in an earlier post that Dave had split up with his wife as well and was doing stage rallies with his new girlfriend....
