Baywatch - the rationale being it was always good but never great, and as entertaining at the end as it was at the beginning!

New Caprica episodes was the high points along with "33". Started strong got amazing, dropped the ball then fumbled it across the line and then with the final 20 mins or so of the final being a real tear jerker.
Indeed - the scene where Galatica FTLs into the upper atmosphere, drops like a stone while launching Vipers and then FTLs back out just before it hits the ground is one of my top TV scifi moments ever.

Low point has to be that run of 'characters who discovered that they were secret Cylons and didn't know how to deal with it' episodes. Mega depressing and a grind to watch.

Thought it finished about as well as it reasonably could have - lots of action and a reasonably satisfying conclusion to their quest for Earth. And a sort-of explanation for 'Head Baltar and Six'.
Yes known as the Adama manouver amazing on a huge screen with a really good sound system.

Good question.. I thought Close Up was an attempt at an ending?

Agreed, If Blake's 7 was on again I would have to watch ... I think it has aged rather well, wobbly sets and all. Oh and Orac, just class

Another vote (presumably, not had chance to read the whole thread) for the West Wing.

Now in very sharp focus, given the current incumbent. Yes, I know it was a TV series, and Trump is reality, but god it makes you wish even harder that life could imitate art sometimes.

What I loved about Blake's 7 was the consistency of the whole series from background, guns, clothing etc.

No mad change of routine or gimmick (Maya Space 1999). But I hated Slave.

Blake's Junction 7 is worth a watch smile
